I think your boots are fine unless you want 52% CDR.
I would upgrade your shield, as crit chance for spells is not the best mod for this build.
You don't need dex on the rare ring (lower the level of phase run by 1), so I would look for a ring with an open suffix and craft "+1 to minimum frenzy charges".

1 shots on clone stage is probably because of the reflect damage, so you can avoid this by:
1) not hitting the one with a shield (which has 100% reflect dmg),
2) making sure to pop up diamond flask (and bottled faith if you have one), or
3) just using an body armour with 100% reduced elemental reflected damage.

As for upgrades (in order of importance),
1) Level 4 enlighten would allow you to respec 3 passive points in the sovereignty cluster and allocate Precision and Harrier notables to increase your damage.
2) watcher's eye and a new helm with a proper enchant
3) Bottled faith and awakened added lightning damage
4) awakened curse on hit.

Enjoying this build so far, very strong and tanky.
Though you die from time to time if you dont have 300 exalt items.
Especially at bosses who have phases where you cant attack them, uber elder, sirius etc.
But though pretty easy doable if you dont facetank them ALL the time without brain.

Just a few questions:

- How does this built as league starter? Can imagine not that well, because you need at least some stuff to run it proper. (for example watchers eye)

- So if I run 14 % CDR, not more than 7.54 APS, does this include already onslaught or not?

- What do you consider minimum aps and crit chance on a sceptre for 14 % CDR version?
I realize its not trade thread, but not many other people out there are looking for those Sceptres. Anyways, I'm selling one of those (which goes first), pm me in game if u are intrested ;)



This one needs 3ex investment with 'hits cant be evaded', but according to PoB it gives roughly 1m dps more than previous one (difference betweeen 24 and 25m dps)

If i take that have 7.94 aps on cyclone and some mana trouble
UPD take just Precision, and 2 node for mana leech, reroll my attack speed jewel so now have 7,51 attack rate on cyclo

I think 7.94 APS is a big dmg loss if you dont run 52 % CDR version, you have to stay below 7.5

With 14-51% CDR, your optimal attack rate is 7.56.
WIth 52%+ CDR, your optimal attack rate is 10.1.


I want to say thank you to the creator of this build, i'm having a lot of fun i always avoided cyclone/coc build for some reason, so it's my first time with something like that, i started monday and it was one of the smoother leveling and end game i've ever had, i love the different synergies with ailments, gloves, rings, es on hit with ball lightning and the room for improvements min/max.

I'm playing a low life variation for the moment without Militant Faith and Bottled Faith, i have 7.3k ES (Shavs and not optimal ES/int on other items), i've reached exactly 7.56 APS wich was a bit tricky and 99.9% crit chance, i will soon get that last 0.01%.

Here are two recommandation for cluster jewels notables :

Veteran Defender
+15 to all Attributes
+15% Elemental Resistances while holding a Shield
60% increased Defences from Equipped Shield

It help with res and give a good ES boost (210es with a 350es shield)

Thunderstruck
20% increased Lightning Damage
Your Critical Strikes Knock Back Shocked Enemies
30% increased Critical Strike Chance

It gives crit and the knockback is a very good synergy with ball lightning, most of times knockback are a %chance but here it's guaranteed on crit wich is insane imo, your balls will keep the ennemies/boss at a safe distance (you can still stay in cyclone range) it's a good defensive layer + make them move in a direction with the ball literaly pushing them = more hit.
And you will feel like Moïse when you split in two a pack of monsters who are invulnerable.

How can i see my attack speed voll buffed in Pob?
What attack speed must i looking for? my actuell weapon ist to fast. I have i new one and can craft attack speed on it but i dont know how much… 16-20 or 11-15. 52% cdr are not possible for me, so the 7.56 breackpoint is fine.

I would be curious to know how do you proc arcane surge with a gem level 20 ?
With the required mana cost (400) and the cost of vortex 20 (26) that would require 16 cast with the cooldown that's ~16 seconds.
