@ancine Can I do red maps without The Surrender? Its too expensive and probably will take some time to get 10ex to buy one...

yes, but i am pretty sure Inpulsa is probably gonna be just as expensive and that makes a much bigger difference in map clearing and general safety.
Hello ancine,

First of all, very nice build, i´m a huge fan of VD, tis season i wanted to try yours,

Still have a small doubt regarding the inspiration,
At the beginning we should use this gem before we have the craft on one of the rings yes?
Can you enlighten me a little bit on this please,

Ty in advance,

Hello.
I'm decided to use this build to begin the new league, seems to bem very fun!!

But, need to ask something, sorry if it's a dump question, I'm not experienced player. I saw the POB for delirium, and I see the Phoenix Gliimer jewel, wich open Doryani's Lessons, but there's no passive skill used in Doryani's, is that correct?
I think Doryani's it's a important detail, cause the life leech. I'm correct? I'm using the right POB?

Again, sorry if this is a dump question, I'm still have so much to learn hehe.

So we should prioritize The Surrender over Inpulsa?

All unique items will be expensive as fuck because this build (and it's variants) are basically FOTM (no nerfs, solid levelling experience, performs well in late maps).

Inpulsas's will be dropping way early and it's functionality has the biggest impact on your map clear/survivability, while The Surrender is tied to Uul-Netol clears and only gives you good life on block + HP. You can easily survive early/mid maps with just a rare shield with good mods.

What would be good mods on a rare shield for this build? I can't even remember when I last played a build that used shields lol

Back in my day it was life + res and maybe some crit chance for spells.

Also, am I okay with going for non timeless jewel variant of the build (the one for the inexperienced players)? I really don't think I will have timeless jewel or thread of hope until later.

Would of been nice if this "For people that want my pob here it is : https://pastebin.com/x2bU3U3n" pob included leveling trees just saying

Crit chance might help with EE proc'cing, but shouldn't be needed. Just get a good life/res shield and you'll be golden for a while. Aim for an Ezomyte Tower shield (to simulate The Surrender STR requirements) with Shaper influence to get the suffix "Recover #% life when you block". It shows up on ilvl 68+. At 5k hp and max roll, you'll have the same HP recovery that The Surrender has, and it goes higher with more HP.

I imagine that the best shield possible you can get for damage + survivability would be a double-influenced Shaper + Warlord Titanium Spirit shield with HP, spell damage, +1 to all fire spell skill gems, Life Recovery on Block, Additional Phys Damage Reduction and resistances.

Yup, the timeless jewel variant is supposed to be an endgame variant for maximum survivability and efficiency. Until then, ignore The Agnostic on the passive tree and path to Glancing Blows manually.

yes exactly. but you need 2 inspirations, one in your volatile dead setup, one in your main hand attack OR movement speed skill.
