[3.11] Spellslinger VD Necromancer. All content. Easy and fast Sirus A8 kill. Wave 20 Simulacrum.

Just want to point out you can also pick up the life/mana cost nodes near glancing if your using Thread of Hope.

difference between this and LL version?

Why medium clusters now? large ones got nerfed hard?

i didn't say you dropped the large ones, as you need some way to get 2 medium clusters and 2 small clusters. I will add to the game to explicitly say that the same main cluster jewel is being used.
if i can get 75%/68% chance to block attacks and spells with a decent rumi's, is it worth getting GB? i mean, is it worth having it manually capped instead of GB keystone?

I noticed you dropped the reduced mana reservation nodes in templar side in the updated 3.11 tree. Does this mean you'll be dropping the wave of conviction spellslinger reservation and casting it manually?

I am terribly sorry, i will update it. It is just that when redoing the skill tree i did it as a new and forgot to allocate them. They are still required.

I'd never switch to manual casting, that kills the fun in the build and the "ease" of playing it, potentially even lowers overall boss dps due to having a prerequisite of doing dps.

You won't have rumis up vs sirus or any long boss, you won't have Rumis up in any of your potential deaths. My goal for the build was to be passively tanky, with vaal molten shell and even regular molten(which gave me a 5-6k shield) being my conditional defenses.

Any tips on Medium Cluster Jewels notables? Only one I could find was this one:

And only one should be used, while the other socket on the large jewel should go straight into a small cluster (saves points for other stuff).

Yeah, final Thread of Hope skill tree should end up looking like this:

Saves up to 6 passives points if going into the 3.11 tree.

The only path that seems wonky is the marauder start one:

But getting rid of those nodes pretty much nukes 1k hp from the build, so I dunno if there's a better option.

Ok, thanks! So you'd still recomend glancing blows even if i had 50+chance on both withou rumis?
Bonus question: is it worth running WoC in the wand to trigger socketed spells and using DD along VD in main links?
Thanks for your time.

ima be fair, i wouldn't even bother with medium cluster jewels, i'd just get 1 large and 2 small ones. You still end up with a decent amount with leftover points to put into HP somewhere.

If you have 50% block on each, you're probably using a variation of the main build which picks up block nodes. Naturally if you are still taking them it isn't worth going glancing blows, but taking glancing blows allows you to not spend these extra points.

I never had problems with damage so i didn't experiment much. The build is open to variation, just do whatever you prefer. Builds guides, in the end, should be seen as a learning opportunity, you don't need to follow my guide 1:1.

With that Thread of Hope would it be worth it to get Steelwood Stance. +600 armor on block and 20% increased armor. Seems solid for 1 point?

Also I feel like we should look to try and get Anointed Flesh in the build somehow...

Thoughts?
