Was inspired by this guide to try an occultist version of the build focusing on power charges (forbidden power + inner conviction) and using profane bloom for faster map clear. Currently level 97 and pretty happy with the build, though I wish it could be a bit tankier. Maybe trickster + inpulsa would achieve a similar effect although losing cloak of defiance is kinda rough for survivability.

I'm really enjoying the build so far. OOS has always been a high-clear skill especially with TS and archmage just makes it dumb.
I'm running into issues trying to improve my items at this point though. I definitely feel pretty squishy if arcane cloak isn't up. Outside of dropping 3+ ex on more optimized wand/shield, where can I realistically improve overall performance? For example, I got dunked on hard by simulacrum 19 boss. pob https://pastebin.com/zFQpUd3j Edit I've already considered swapping out the clear mind for a watcher's eye with "%damage taken from mana while clarity" for a bit more tank. I'll check out your variation later sounds cool " Completeting simulcrum without more endgame pieces can be tough especially when bosses spawn with difficult mods such as High Crit and Chaos damage. I looked at your PoB and you could gain a bit more survivability from from Wise Oak with balanced resists and switching the cast speed on your wand for Trigger Socketed Spell mod instead since currently your gloves basically aren't doing anything unless you're manually casting Cold Snap for bosses. Outside of that Simulacrum will become easier once your gems get closer to level 20 The video I have of me clearing sim is with the starter gear but most of my gems were already 19 with some of them being 20 and it was a struggle against the boss. Thanks. I'm currently using frostblink to keep bosses chilled, or at least on chilled ground. The CDT setup is mostly for defensive purposes. Resistances are definitely rough and already biting me on ele weakness maps because each incremental upgrade is highly expensive at this point, at least for the amount of currency I'm used to having.

Hi thank you for the build, I've been using it since seeing it on GoodGuy's youtube video. I've compared the damage on POB of my OOS to your OOS and there is a vast difference. yours @ 243,043 and mine @65,682

" Linking your actual build from PoB makes it easier but I did load your character in from your profile myself. Biggest Damage differences I see when I go into your PoB compared to mine in a list with highest DPS increases at the top then no particular order afterwards: Most damage increases i'll put a fairly accurate %damage increase of average hit next to each but don't forget cast speed/mana pool is very important too: Wand (17%) Shield (13% damage) Assassin mark ring (10%) Awakened Lightning Pen Support (25% Average hit difference at lvl 5 a few % even at level 1) Helmet Enchant (6%) Level up your Chain gem or get level 21 chain gem you're losing damage from chain's negative multiplier not being lowered as much as possible Other damage increases Spec into crackling speed until you get a second cluster jewel to be put into your medium Snowstorm on medium cluster jewel (it's about twice as efficient damagewise compared to Paralysis node you have Level 21/23 Archmage Quality on culling strike attached to tempest shield (for the cast speed) Tailwind there might be more but this should give you some stuff to work towards.
