So basically i should buy the poets pen required (if i dont get lucky and get one) and for the most part harvest or craft the other items required.? (i have one already btw)

I am still a fairly new player so i dont know alot. also what does POB fork mean like what is it?

2 poet's pen are a must in our set up, the rest of the gear arent unique mostly you can craft them in harvest or buy them thru trade

PoB fork bascially is a community project to keep pob more updated with more support to more mechanics to calculate dps, highly recommended

ty for the help and all but i got a few more questions, does infused stack when you anoint it and get it on the tree?

sorry if you feel like a hotspot for questions but like i said i am still fairly new so i want to learn more,. poe is a nice game

What tree should i follow of that you listed, the poeplanner place or just the pastebin in pob on the pob pastebin you got the i guess nearest jewel socket and nothing in it, should i just put something that Can help there,
(there may be more questions that i cant think of now )

Questions are totally fine

Anointed passives do not give extra stat, you cant double allocate infused(that would be extremely overpowered)

Use the starter tree without acrobatics, because the focus was more towards effective hp early on, the poe planners are there to guide how you should path, but those arent the final tree

Hi Astarift, this build is pretty fun and I like how it's not the typical Ice Nova build. I want to full commit to the build and I need to make a few upgrades to make single target and even juiced maps feel good. I have about 20ex to spend right now, do you think getting better +Life on my gear to move to the phase acro tree would be best right now? Or should I go for my first Awakened Spell Cascade (17ex right now, yikes). I'm going to pick up the grand spectrums now and see how the damage feels. Edit: Also getting 21 Bladefall/Blade Blast gems.

Thanks in advance!

I would focus on an awakened spell cascade now, maybe level a few spell cascade on off wep slot and attempt to 5% awaken gems on harvest when you get the opportunity

If you have easily more than 5.5k life pre-acrobatics, just do the swap and find ways to squeeze life, it helps with our survivability alot, we just need a healthy e hp pool before converting

Thanks for replying! I did a small round of upgrades and I'm going to work on awakened spell cascade now. I can continue to harvest craft life on my existing gear for a bit. Got a very good deal and self crafted this helmet.

I'm wondering how important you think the grand spectrums are/getting to max crit pre-flask is as 3 jewel sockets is quite a trade off between more crit multi/life/atk speed. This is my first CoC build so I'm not sure how to value say 85% crit to 100% crit.

Thanks!

I value grand spectrum alot because its a coc build and partially because of our synergy with crit, if we dont crit we hit weak. However, there are better way to getting to crit capped, namely a curse on hit assassin's mark ring, which is coincidentally a shaper's mod. However, i was building this build as my league starter and with budget in mind, i did not opt for a ring with assassin's mark + life gain on hit + high life roll.

Lets say you can get assassin's mark, an additional power charge with the helm you have there, you can probably manage to drop off the 3 grand spectrums and mix in some jewels if you can get to crit cap with just a bottled faith on

I try not to make a build with super high budget 100ex> unless its required, because not everyone can get hold of 100ex worth of wealth in poe every league

Hello again, took some of your advice last time and saw alot of improvement. Currently at a crossroads as to which next big upgrade I should pursue, and would love your input:

1. Bottled faith
2. Assassin's mark ring, but that would mean giving up temporal chains, which has saved my life more than once
3. +1 dex +1 phy ammy
4. Tailwind boots (struggling to get more str elsewhere for a pair of two-toned boots)
5. Maybe +1 power charge helmet?
6. awakened brutality, cast on crit
7. Any other suggestions I am too noob to figure out

It seems that bottled faith would be the biggest jump for me now, but the additional crit only applies to enemies on the circle you make, so it isn;t always applicable right?

Awakened brutality, bottled faith next in line, the other upgrades you listed are what i label as extreme upgrades

Bottled faith creates a big pile of holy shit on you, and thats all that matters, we use it mainly on bosses for the burst and burst phase are usually <4 seconds. Other than that consecrated ground is also for some life regen and intrinsically it applies 100% increased chance to be crit on enemies

Nice, I was looking for a long time for a good Poet build, using CoC for more blades on the ground is a clever workaround to the internal Poet cooldown.

Question though: Is replacing Kinetic Impacts with Hardened Skin (basically continuous Fortify) worth it? I feel like all these avoid/dodge builds have trouble against big hits coming thru so Fortify sounds sensible. However, losing 15% overwhelm sounds nasty. What'cha think?
