Thank you for your build.
I would really prefer to stay tri-element all the way through the end game, because that would just be too damn cool - do you have any recommendations? What sort of cool cluster notables look appealing to you? |
|
" With Tri-element I would probably aim for Badge as amulet for endgame, that should be fun. And before that decent crit multi one. But it sounds like good plan and it should def work. For cluster notables, I really like the crit + wand damage one, and also the explody ones, should help with clear by a lot. Also, Secrets of Suffering maybe for new ailments (mainly for scorch, but sap and brittle are good too). " Thanks :) My builds:

Really love the build, i think its worth taking the risk and going for it :)
Espially since you are assasin and can respec into Coc Spell slinger or whatever if it doesnt work out `have you considered avatar of fire before you get xoph though? Regarding manacost: you have a regen of 600+130+flask and a cost of ~500 with 4aps, is this working out, especially if you get a bit dmg through mom etc? " Yeah that would be cool, but I will probably just try to go for some of the new explody mods on cluster jewels and after that into explody chest (should be solid because of AoF etc). " Yeah I think AoF + combat focuses before Xophs can be the play. Its quite a few points, but it should be worth it. For mana cost, yeah I think it should be fine. Mostly because we will not be ramped up all the time, and for mapping there is cinder for quick recovery, and for bosses as soon as we stop attacking and eating mana the mana should recover really fast after getting hit by some big hit. Laviagna is also an option instead of like Dying Sun (or quicksilver on harder bosses). Also, for endgame we have a lot of crafting and gearing options for higher mana recovery, from belt + new cluster jewels (the amount of mana recovery you can get from belt is actually amazing). Hey thanks for the guide, looks fun! As someone previously said the leveling gem section is neat. I love it.
After extended search for a starter I think I will start the league with your build, but I haven't played in a long time and still have very little knowledge of the game. After looking at the PoB it seems to me that some items are quite mandatory to get the build going in its full fire setup (neck, unique jewels, helm maybe). Is the leveling/early atlas progress smooth without these? |
|
" Yeah, as mentioned in the guide we simply use Elemental Equilibrium instead of amulet + combat focus for tri-element ele hit. The damage output is not worse by a lot so it can easily work for endgame without going full fire at all. And for items, I actually forgot to mention my secondary Starter item set I have in PoB, so: Small build udpdate - Added mention about starter item set to PoB section My builds:

Any reason in particular for going Assassin instead of Inquisitor?

" Sounds great, thanks for the quick reply! |
