Where is this fantasy world you speak of where necros that could roflstomp content are built cheaply?

Asking cuz I want to know the secrets of this mythical content crushing thrift build you speak of.

Or is your math also mythical and somehow ignoring the cost of gems and jewels. Assuming that (meaning excluding gem and jewel costs), I can see the build being cheapish, if 50-60ex is cheap to you.

The wonderful world of Impale Skeletons. You can easily do it SSF with little effort. The guy that got world first SSFHC Awakener 8 was running Impale Skeles even. The build was disgustingly broken and cheap, it's why it got nerfed.
I hope that when the world comes to an end I can breathe a sigh of relief; because there will be so much to look forward to.

Modifiers to Melee Weapon and Unarmed Attack Range are now described as "+X to Melee Strike Range". The functionality hasn't changed. Weapons that describe their range still refer to "Weapon Range".


So literally the ONLY thing you change for melee is the name of a description ? Really ? How fuckin pathetic is that. You are not nerfing summoners and minion builds, you make ranged builds even stronger by letting them get more arrows on bows now and you make pretend changes to melee in nothing but the name ?

This update sucks and you should be ashamed of yourself for producing this crap. Just yet another summoner meta. Fuck this league.
GGG refuses to buff Melee and gives every surivability tool to Spell/Ranged/Minion Builds because they dont play the game or at least melee themself.

Man, so hype. I mean, game was getting too easy there for a second. What with all the metamorph one shots till they were taken away/fixed in the last month and Sirus, I was worried I would be afk again... /partial sarcasm.

Jokes aside, I like my challenge. And these nerfs literally affect nothing from future builds I want to make. They do affect a few standard builds I have now. But, it does seem a little overboard. All I saw was nerf this... then weee nerf that... Yeah babay! Then we nerf this too. Ooooh yeah!

Dev 2- "Did you nerf that as well?"
Dev 1- "don't be silly, its the first thing I nerfed!"
Dev 3- "what are you clowns doing?"
Dev 1/2- "see who can do the most nerfs for a league?"
Dev 3- "Sweeeeet, Im at 5 nerfs, how many you got?"

And on it goes!

I am still reserving some thought on all this due to jewel clusters. But, I still have no idea how the end result will be. Balanced out to the same thing? How easy to get those cluster jewels? They need skill points too, which means you are taking points from something else, in which case it felt like more options rather than additions...

Sooooo, still can't make my mind up how I feel and if its a clean straight up nerf league or a more balance patch overall.

Still hyped regardless. Everything else I am happy with (including the Atlas, I liked it to begin with, now it looks even better).

Gonna wait and see how it all plays out to have final thoughts.

Everyone focused on necros, no one cares about mana guards. Totally destroyed. Will respec/rebuild one in standard before league just to see how brutally gimped it is.

Bet I go from 12k ES to 3. Max. With a third of the armor. Path of one shots for everyone except streamers and scammers WOOOOO!

I don't see how this league was finished 3 weeks ago like they said it was. It seems like they're 3 weeks behind.

Other than playing around with Animate Weapon and Spellslinger for fun there's literally nothing different between this league and last league. Minions are still strong believe it or not, though not quite as facerolly. CoC is still delicious. Cyclone was hugely buffed for reasons no one can understand while all other melee remains dumpster tier. Almost every build stays exactly the same.

No significant changes to anything in the game except for a bloated notable pool with 90% worthless affixes. No ascendancy changes except for a couple nerfs. Very low effort league.

Thanks for making meaningless changes to Death and Taxes while leaving the regular garbage maps the way they are. Appreciate your commitment to improving Death and Taxes in the future.

Players : "Oh cool! Perhaps now each rooms will be more rewarding..."

GGG : "All temple mods nerfed to hell, monsters are all buff to insane level and kill players with 1 hits!"

SO many changes that, they GGG didn't know why we skipping incursion missions, this changes proving players are avoiding incursion even more. I don't think we are asking temple to be more deadly, we are asking to be more rewarding.
Why nerf carrion golem? Even summoner is the most popular class, carrion build isn't popular at all
