Diablo 4 Quarterly Update

That would depend on how they coded the game. If all the calculations are being done server side, then differences in the client shouldn't matter. Unless the client is so slow that it can't communicate with the server fast enough. But based on the specs of the new consoles, that shouldn't be an issue.

FPS definitely shouldn't be an issue, as that only affects the drawing routines, not the logic.

I don't claim to be an expert here, but I did think that FPS played a significant role.

I mean isnt this a big issue in first person shooters or other PvP games? You want as many frames as possible. Thats the same logic processing wise no?

Idk maybe I'm wrong and it doesn't matter?

To be honest, I don't know why some people want ridiculously high FPS rates. If your FPS is higher than your monitor's refresh rate, the extra frames aren't going to be displayed anyway.

Kinda subjective. I get that it's trendy to not like Blizzard, but their games still do well.

Doing well because the blizz fanboi's will by anything they make regardless of quality, as opposed to the games actually being good....bit of a difference.

For instance WoW retail not doing so well because of the shit design decisions V's a 15 year old classic version that is objectively "worse" but is a better game and gaining a shit ton of players
Ancestral Bond. It's a thing that does stuff. -Vipermagi

He who controls the pants controls the galaxy. - Rick & Morty S3E1
Given the recent issues within blizzard over the last years,I have zero hopes that this game will be any good. It's not the devs, they are actually trying, it's the company itself.

I am sure the company will do just fine, just how apple fanboys will buy the latest gadget regardless how overpriced it is, so will blizz fanboys. It's just a sad thing to see that one can not even hope that d4 might be any good.

Well grabbing Sebastian from CD Projekt Red to oversee Diablo was about as good a move as you could make. I mean who knows what will happen over the next few years in development, but this was certainly a huge positive staffing move.

As a collector of every game blizzard has made, I feel quite terrible to watch the state of a former mogul company and the s@1t h@ole it has become now.

I used to love Blizzard, grew up with Blizzard, heck I even ran from work to be the first in line so that I can get a copy of d3, my youth was in some shady net cafe playing D2, I almost cried when I got D2 on my first computer and I saw that it actually runs and I can play as much as I want, and now ? I have higher hopes for Delirium league than D4 unfortunately :(.

Beside scandals over proportions and over mediatized tournaments they haven't released any good content for neither of the franchises they own.

Heck they cannot even release a damn end of month update for Hearthstone without blowing something up...

Bad influence of Activision speaks for itself.

For me it is not a trendy thing, I've been highly disapointed by them for many years since Starcraft 2. They are not what they used to be, oh yes they still do good money. But no, they don't have the heart and passion they used to have.
