Random thought, but would Profane Proxy socketed with a frostbite curse be a decent alternative to a cast on hit frostbite ring?

Solves the mana issue fairly elegantly.

No since it takes a ring slot and sacrifice either bonechill chill or shock, both are probably more dmg than the curse.

Unless you run phys variant but since you mentioned frostbite....

RE Skitterbots:

I've tried to love them, but the math doesn't make sense to me:

Replacing shock - loss of 10% damage
Replacing bonechill-chill - loss of 20% damage

And in return, proxy gives a curse which can be accessed in other ways (curse on hit, hextouch with a brand).

Definitely not a bad item, but I can't personally recommend it.

Still exploring more mana options - will update.

Makes sense, I'd forgotten to factor in bonechill.

I'd been using awakened blasphemy + frostbite, but recently switched to frostbite on hit ring and skitterbots + bonechill. DPS seems to have increased a fair bit.

I've got a level 2 clarity which helps with mana, it's enough for skeletons anyway. Only annoyance is if golem needs resummoning, but I normally just drop an aura, resummon the golem and reactivate.
Anyone got a passive tree link for poe planner or something? I'm trying to help my buddy play this and messing around with pob seems like overkill.
You guys have any thoughts on running a second curse?

EDIT: For some context, I'm trying to decide if I want to add +1 to curse limit on my chest armor or %Physical Damage taken as Chaos. I'm using Divine Flesh.

Here you go! I do recommend PoB eventually though, since it is the gold standard for any build guide. I understand though, a friend is starting out and I've just provided him progress trees as well.

I took a quick peek at your character. The biggest factor for mana regeneration is the boot enchant - see mine below: The boot wasn't very expensive despite the stats on it - 1 ex + a craft. Then it took one gift of the goddess lab run to get the enchant on. In the beginning of the league, I bought one with a lower version of the enchant, and then just harvest reforged it until I had something decent.

The end game (update to level 4 gear still a work in progress) setup will have a triple curse setup: elemental weakness, frostbite, and then either projectile weakness (archers, mages), or sniper's mark (warriors, forcusing on crit).

One +1 curse should come from the chest, and the other from awakened hextouch support.

For you specifically, your choice: the extra curse is more offensive (~10% more damage on bosses), or phys is chaos is 13-14% reduced physical damage taken pretty much.
