" The max skeletons you can summon now is 12, with the +1 skeleton craft on amulet and helmet. Looking at your setup you are still using a mana flask instead of another defensive flask. That's a big defensive layer you're missing, I'd recommend a granite flask or rumi's concoction. Your support gems for your skeletons are missing quality, do the quality vendor recipe and level them back up. Also you can get a 21/23 vaal summon skeleton gem for about an exalt. Otherwise you honestly shouldn't be having to much trouble so maybe its your playstyle? Last edited by SpookyDucks#1523 on Oct 7, 2020, 10:28:25 PM

Definitely his playstyle.
I was doing 19/20 waves of simulacrom with less gear than he has. Actually you can have 15 skeletons . Total Players can have a maximum of 16 (or more) Skeletons at once: 8 from the level 20 skill (9 for level 24-29, up to 11 for level 36 skill) 2 from passive skills 3 from unique equipment (wearing Alberon's Warpath and dual wielding Midnight Bargain ) 1 from veiled prefix Chosen on a helmet 1 from veiled prefix Chosen on a body armour, or a Delve drop-only body armour with prefix Subterranean 1 from an Elder amulet with prefix Eldritch or Delve drop-only amulet with prefix Subterranean The math is a bit wrong because I don't know if you can get the body armour with +1 skeletons anymore. The iron mass character is awful so far. :)
@SpookyDucks - I'm running three arena masters (400% life I believe) since I only upgraded to wands today for that reason. The nerf to spectres in 3.10 hit them pretty hard. Your edit works - you can add an aspect, or even a clarity to replace blood magic. I heard a while back that a level 6 clarity = enough mana for the chieftains to cast. @Lazer_Death - Hmm, interesting on the armor - I guess we can only trust PoB on this one. Phys' range is definitely a little shorter for sure, but it still does well even at a distance since impale is the main mechanic for it. @Sazzbot - Any that says Doryani. They all have different small nodes that range from something useless to minion dmg %. @Cronggz - Not sure why you're feeling low damage to be honest, I was doing three-four second conquerors with similar gear and melee splash on. @Nihilum12345 - Yeah the odds are against you for self corrupting - an option, but it's gambling like all PoE crafting :( @shaob - I agree with everything SpookyDucks says. Your trigger wand IS messing up your EE. Either buy a new one or path to avatar of fire, otherwise you're doing 1/4th the damage you should be doing. This is priority number one over all else. I'm at 7.5k combined life + ES and feel pretty immortal - level 95 and not even awakening level 8 yet despite no missed watchstones (lack of playtime). RE: Melee splash, multistrike, and Ele dmg with atks (multiple people). Always keep Ele dmg with attacks in: This is our highest multiplier until awakened melee dmg. Splash is for mapping, and multistrike for bosses (though I only use it for Sirus personally, I have enough damage to do normal bosses with melee splash). Multistrike feels really bad for mapping IMO. Multistrike is a higher damage multiplier overall, but it leaves skeletons stuck in animation which I feel is more annoying than just having ele dmg w/ attacks. @Vendetta - You can change the name, though maybe it's a bit resistant? I hit a Ahuana three times before it became my (bad) Doryani. @pingupepelu - Simulacrum is a funny map - it's less about survivability (though it helps) and more about not getting overwhelmed (aka having the damage to one tap monsters as they spawn). Once you get overwhelmed, your support minions start dying and cannot summon skeletons enough. If they start camping the entrance, then you potentially just lose most of your portals trying to get to a safer spot. You need a blessed rebirth cluster jewel for sure. I haven't run one this league on my current character, but I'll do one after I level to 96 to see how mine fares this league. For reference, most of the simulacrums I ran in 3.10 and 3.11 were with 5k health characters with triple cluster jewels - damage was more effective than more EHP in simulacrum. 15 skeletons is from 3.9. Like Vendetta said, you can get to 15, but those are pretty big downgrades in terms of damage (Alberon's is okay, but rare boots are better to shore up move speed, resistances, etc. IMO). 3.15 β Cold Skeletons guide: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2774965 Last edited by iLL3aT#4109 on Oct 8, 2020, 2:12:32 AM

" Hmm, maybe it just me feeling it could have been faster with the gears i have currently. Also, what gears or gem should i upgrade next in ur opinions that would give me a great increase in damage. Thanks ! Last edited by Cronggz#4243 on Oct 8, 2020, 2:39:53 AM

I tried switching to cold damage according to your guide, bought cluster gems and armor, but the damage dropped significantly compared to the physical one. I spent a long time in POB, putting different stones and changing wands, I realized that such damage as I have now on impale, in a cold build I can only achieve with such top wands as you have in the last League. Perhaps the cold damage will multiply well with the second set of cluster gems, but it doesn't make sense with one set. This is of course true if we assume that the POB correctly counts damage regardless of the target's armor. When you craft 2 wands and armor +2, we can test measure the killing speed of a Minotaur in seconds to understand. βββββ ββββββββ ββββββ ββββββββ ββββββ ββββββββ ββ β βΌ EVIL βΌ βββββ ββββββββ ββββββ βββββββ ββ ββββββ ββββββ ββ β

right on didnt notice the cold damage from my wand. i paid 400c for this like 2 weeks ago... so when i replace it i want it to be with a BIG upgrade. For now i'll path into avatar of fire and use frostbomb> that is correct, right?
*edit also followup question - are syndicate spectres x4 a good choice? I'm not sure i really like the skeletons having the charges from the chieftan monkies. Last edited by shaob#4892 on Oct 8, 2020, 8:36:59 AM

Figured I'd update you on how I decided to go with my spectres.
Swapped hatred and generosity to my wand and dropped frostbite. Linked spectres to increased duration/ clarity/ minion life support. The 4 spectres I'm using are Arena Master/ Carnage Chieftain/ Death Bishop/ Undying Evangelist. For regular clearing maps etc, the damage is fine without having frostbite on every mob. Once you get to the boss the death bishop 90% of the time gets frostbite on the boss, the other 10% I deal enough damage to kill it before it gets the chance to. This build has plenty of damage to not have to run frostbite as a curse. Now to the real positive of this change. My survivability has gone through the ROOF! Why you might ask? Running clarity even with it max level I have plenty of mana unreserved and can spam my skeletons as much as I want, meaning I can speed run through maps and constantly move my skeletons pack to pack with no worries of mana. This keeps me alive more than I ever thought it would, and its such a huge quality of life to the build. With clarity my ape has no issues keeping frenzy charges up, and they last longer with increased duration. Death bishop keeps frostbite up 100% of the time on single target with increased duration as well. I've done 2 Sirus at A8 since the change and with minion life now not even my ape dies during the fight anymore. Not to mention with running clarity it gives more attack speed to the minions because of Commander of Darkness. The Undying Evangelist is hit or miss imo. It keeps the buff up almost 90% of the time because of increased duration, and yea it helps keep my minions alive from outside of the bubble but.. If I'm at the point where my minions need the bubble to stay alive then I'm already in too much trouble, which doesn't even happen with this build tbh. I think I'll replace the Evangelist with another Carnage Chieftain to get skeletons frenzy charges faster. If you feel like mana is annoying to deal with I can 100% recommend this change. The build already has so much damage to be able to drop frostbite for regular mob clearing, and you still get it on single target with this set up. And its a cheap set up as it just requires a little recoloring and buying some gems from Lilly. Last edited by SpookyDucks#1523 on Oct 8, 2020, 12:03:02 PM
