IMSilver's ARPG Tier List...!
" Yup,pretty bad, considering that these 2 games +dungeon siege is what kept the hack&slash genre alive. After diablo2, the entire genre started to die off, there were a few titles here and there, but not that well known or played, and the hack&slash genre was nowhere as popular as it is in today's world. There was dungeon siege, sacred came along, was a buggy mess, but it had gorgeous graphics for that time, and titan quest arrived in 2006. Then came sacred 2, and only after that did the bigger titles have a hint of maybe getting developed. Be it path of exile,diablo3,and so on. Without those games, the genre might have died off,and these games might have never been developed. Last edited by Nosferat on Feb 18, 2020, 5:35:37 AM

The genre would never die off. People still play and mod Diablo 2, Titan Quest and Torchlight 1/2. Even without an overhyped trash like Wolcen, even without PoE, hell even without Diablo 3 the genre would still exist.
