Let’s talk Sirus.

Sirus isn’t hard, but fighting the terribly poor optimization on that fight is. The screen lag and stutter is awesome, and I run an Xbox 1x with SSD and shit still happens. Over 1 month into the league. We gonna take bets if they fix it by the end of the league? I bet no.

Using regular PS4 as Raider barrage. Absolutely zero lag in any Sirus phase. The problem is obviously the minions.

If anyone's on PS4 Standard I can carry you no problem, you can even stay in the fight just don't summon your rotting buddies. Obviously OP is on metamorph xb1.

Just a quick update.

Sirus is down. I killed him yesterday using the suggestion in the post. I got him to phase 4 no problem. The lag seems to come after he summons the eternal flame and then teleports to a new location and says “Die”, once he fires off the big beam it freezes the game for a second. That’s where both of my deaths came from, needless to say I still managed to kill him and I’m very happy with that. No major changes to my build, still capped Fire, lightning, cold and chaos is -30%.


Hopefully this gets resolved, I’d like to farm him on AW L8 due to the profit that can be made on his drops. Thanks for all the comments good or bad, hopefully this shed some light on one of the console performance issues.

I’m inclined to think it’s the minions as well. I’ve only fought/beaten him once so far, but I didn’t have any lag issues. Elementalist running with 4 golems out. Not necessarily the presence of minions but probably the volume of minions.

Same problem here. last phase is unplayable and its not only lag but also the animations of the 4 beams, they flicker so badly that i cant focus on where sirus is.

Im playing a herald of purity build. did all bosses including uber atziri and uber elder. I did beat sirus once but i tried him 8 times.
The problem is that i dont feel like im doing anything wrong, its feels like im not in controle, wich is bad.
When i die to uber elder i feel like its my own fault.

I would like to chime in though that on my ball lighting miner still get lag at phase 4 not just minion might be some builds lags the fight more than others but I dont disagree that minion is the problem just not the only thing

This fight is... Are you kidding me? It just doesn't work once the third phase starts. Screen freezes pretty much completely for 2 seconds when the big beams are due. Death ensues.

I'm running minions, so it's in line with everyone else's experience in here. Can't see much reason to try that fight again. Deflating end to the league.
