Critical strikes ignore enemy elemental resists so we don't need penetration. I would suggest to use my gem setup. If you wanna use awakened gem use for ele dmg with attacks

Wrong thread but ok. First lower your arcane surge gem level it's too high. Try to get a better belt. Ele. dmg with attack skill doesn't do anything. Amethyst ring has fire damage to attacks mod it also doesn't work for armageddon brand. You should get more life from your items.
