[3.14] Kami's Life | LL | CI CoC Ice Nova Assassin | all Content | deep Delve | max Block

I am POE noob. This build is a little more complex than others I have played. wondering if anyone can help me decide what to spend my money on next, and how much stronger I might get in the short term. I am considering liquidating a golem hero who can A8 Sirius pretty easily, but as of now I am still having a hard time bossing on this char. Maps are a breeze, even T16. I still get popped occasionally if I am not in combat.

Thanks!

But I still feel as fragile as with the "Full DPS" variant but with much less damage.

What am I doing wrong?

Hard to tell, you're 95 so making changes to your tree would require quite a bit of rearranging. What is your block %? Get a Rumi's Concoction for more block instead of the Diamond flask or Quicksilver.
Take Sanctuary below Glancing Blows is another option but means 4-5 points shifted around.

@DrBad: that is usually the case with ES builds. Your ES is quite low, typically to survive occasional one hits you really need above 7k ES to start noticing them less, and around 9k to basically not worry anymore except against bosses.

Have Vaal Discipline on an easy-to-access Oh Shit button. It's really your only way to quickly heal from heavy hits.

Not like life builds where you have a flask to deal with damage outside of battles!
Could somebody possibly check out my build and suggest what to upgrade next? I don't have a lot of currency, I opted to progress through this build. I've put about 10 exalts into it so far, and it feels just barely good enough to do T16s, but I still die often. I want to be tanky enough to not die, softcore memes with 40 shapers per second aren't for me, so max block and high ES is definitely a priority, but I want to be able to do at least like 3m dps so I can comfortably do sirus and maybe some more content.

@Havikz: If you want more damage you are missing a node right above the power charge in the top of your tree (4% spell damage per power charge). You also need to get an assassin's mark ring asap. Huge single target power boost. Frostbite is good, but Assassin's mark is better against bosses. Running both with awakened hextouch is ofc the best.

You should NOT be using GMP in your cospri! No idea where you got that from...That is actually really hurting your clear speed and dps. Ice Nova can only cast on 2 projectiles so the perfect amount is given just by frozen trail alone allowing for overlapping dps.

Regarding tankiness, you just need to max out your block. You are almost there. the 10% you are missing makes a huge huge difference, plus if you decide to up your spell block too you have more than 20% there you can raise. Every block is less damage plus more heal. Besides that, your ES is just super low.

You need an ES on hit watcher's eye.

Finally, without stun immune you are gonna die and you are gonna die a lot (unless you are really really careful). Because we are ES, we have no armor so stuns last a really really long time.

One more thought: why do you have charisma on your amulet? According to PoB you have more than 30% of your mana pool unreserved...no need for Charisma

Thank you so much! I've actually been mostly copying high level people from poeninja, and couldn't really find much specific info about this stuff. I was doubting the GMP frostbolt personally, so it's good to know. What should I replace the GMP with?

I have 3% of my mana leftover after reserve with my precision nearly lvl 20, I took it for the accuracy

Also, how do I fit in stun immunity?

stun immunity you get with 80% boot enchant (you already get 20+ from tree).

Put frost bomb or in your case, frostbite, into the weapon.
Has anyone pushed the build to 52cdr, 10.1 aps? That would double the damage right?
@edit maybe not double but multiply by 10.1/7,5 = 1,34?

I'm sure someone has tried it, but I wonder what you'd have to sacrifice in order to get that attack speed and CDR?
I'm curious.
