Honestly that is horrible survivability.

On the point of oneshots I was hoping they would address that this league when they massively buffed survivability of all monsters but no such luck now we get bosses that take forever to kill with many builds and still one shot them and metamorphs that can insta gib you no matter what your defences are. And when you try to use a skill to avoid it theres a super high chance of rubberbanding due to to many effects on console. It's a lose lose league it feels like.

Of course you get oneshot a lot with such a low health pool.

What level is your character and what tier of maps/level of things are you doing?


I was running some mid-tier maps the other day and met two bosses I couldn't handle. "Couldn't." One was some ground-spawn crap/aura/thing that sucked the life right out of me every time I got close to it and the boss had no "adds" (extra mobs to fight) I could kill for flask charges. Kind of a no-go.. I'd need a bajillion leech to survive it. He laughed off a Level 21 Vaal Summon Skeletons horde and didn't even get scratched... I died twice to him.

The next one up was some wacky Physical Damage thing/aoe/something paired with constant, and I do mean screen-clearing constant, phys damage stream of crap flowing across half the screen. Died twice there, too.

I died not because my build sucks or I am not making all the right min/max choices. I died because I just clicked on all the toughest and nastiest organ-effects I could see in the window until the Metamorph was obviously maxxed out with affixes I didn't know and abilities I could only guess at. And, now I know.. Don't do that. :)

Metamorph League is an "also ran." It's budget League while they work on what will effectively be "PoE 2.0." It's not fine-tuned, it's not balanced, it's not even friggin' rational. So, don't expect it to be. :)

On your build - I couldn't see your character, but first thing I'd say is get your hit points up, cap your resists, etc. You want over-capped resists if you can get them and as many hit-points as possible.

(I've never played that sort of build, so can't advise you from experience. Don't know why I can't see your character, either. Maybe because I haven't linked my console account?)

And, even if you're maxxed out in everything, one of the Metamorphs is going to make you wear your character's @$$ for a hat... It will happen. :)

yeah all my resists are capped and some over capped my chaos is even at 51% soon to be in the 70s. health wise once im lvl 100 i should have about 4700hp right now for me im trying to min max everything and get it all perfect. my necklace needs upgrading for sure as i would love to have chaos damage over time on it and chaos resist...in all honesty its only a few attacks i get one shot..most times i can take a pretty good beating or i evade really well..ts the times when i feel its totally unfair and or you need to be an AI yourself to be-able to dodge..such as i die go back into the fight and before i can even fart the boss blasts me and im ded the second i come thru the portal..so..that is what frustrates me the most. im currently lvl 91...just trying to get the maps at max awakening.

I think what you also have to take into account is the lack of flasks on the console, unless you are a real finger acrobat. Usually they close plenty of holes in your defenses.
