[3.12] Hasunic's Toxic Rain / Caustic Arrow Trickster | Leaguestarter | Ailment Immunity | SSF
Really good job! I played caustic in my first league and toxic rain in my second league as a starter. Liked both but caustic had a lack in singletarget and toxic rain I didnt really like for clearing. Happy to play both at the same time and right situation.
I checked the PoB and saw that you dodged the belt in every iteration. Do we still get ailment imunity? Checked the flasks and the seem to be the point how we get it? Thanks for you work. I am really exited to start the league with this build. /Edit: There seems to be no Watchers Eye put in. Not even in the BiS setup. What are the best mods to aim for? DotMulti while male? " The belt is still good, but the demand for high str on lots of slots compared to just crafting avoid ailments in 3 slots... Its almost the same, and then you can use an insane hunter belt. I like malevolence dot multi and avoid bleeds personally. If you have mana issues you can also go for reduced mana cost clarity and fit a clarity. Im crafting all the items im linking right now, lol. It takes a while. [3.9]Hasunic's Toxic Rain Trickster: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2712106

The guide looks really good. Both CA/TR are really fun skills, looking forward to playing both this and a necro next league.
In the guide and some videos you are using both CA and TR, but in your new video you are using only CA. Is there a point where you would say to stop using both CA and TR and just use CA? Not sure how good the CA boss damage is once fully geared out. I just wanted to understand the best way to handle having both skills. | |
In the video I was using a build from 3.9wgere I swapped for tr. I would recommend using both and ca in bow untill very late game with good, mana reduction and increased skill duration

How much does the explode chest rly contribute here to clear?

" Not much tbh. It's good in delve, but I would personally prefer high eHP and frenzy charge on hit . [3.9]Hasunic's Toxic Rain Trickster: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2712106

If you have manareserve problems you can also use a intuitive leap in this position to fix your mana reservation + still get a good large notable.

I saw you posted the guide on reddit too, gosh, some people are really rude in comments there, is that normal?
Also btw, you cannot change tree jewels in pob gearsets, right? I was wondering why the "expensive" set still has poacher's aim but I guess you cannot swap alternatives for jewels only for armor? And last thing, dunno why people are so convinced this will get nerfed? Not ball lightning mines (or mines in general), not volatile dead, not impale, not hollow palm, not redemption sentry spectres but out of all stuff people think toxic rain is OP? All things compared you can reach nice damage numbers on an investment, but not "3 shapers per second" type of damage... Neither it's the level of "I clear the atlas on a 3-link". I think it's quite balanced investment to outcome ratio, if anything Eternal Suffering I think is overbudget in comparison to other duration nodes, so that could be trimmed down a bit. |
