EA 3.9 Ignite -- Cap Your Damage

Got another question though. Got a timeless jewel which can give me 2x +10 maximum chaos resist and 2x 50% damage taken as chaos damage for just 2 skillpoints. If I would take both skillpoints doing that, does it also mean I don't need any fire/cold/lightning resist anymore (because 100% taken as chaos instead?)

I suggest going back and looking for a proper helmet for the mod, I would buy a base for the explosion and roll with fossils, if you get an open suffix awesome, if not need to attempt annul.

I would suggest going into PoB and using the damage calculator to test out the damage aspect AFTER swapping around gear as well.

+1, Fire DoT multi amulets are dependent on the current ignite dps, if you deal TO MUCH DAMAGE, the damage flips negative and you do 0 damage (funny to see it explode and do 0 damage) So sometimes getting a +1 is just to much dps

The pseudo 5 link is to drop down totem ballista support socketed with EA+Barrage+GMP+MultiTotem so you can have 5 additional Totems with maximum arrows to add to the fuse count of your EA. More fuses = bigger broken damage, sudo 5 link is currently better. Plus you want to put tailwind on boots anyway so not enough affixes unless you drop movement speed

1. Take off Less Duration for your single target dps, that lowers your boss output by a lot, swap in Burning Damage from your clear setup. that alone will be a huge difference

2. +1 arrow, Fire Dot Multi quiver is a huge upgrade for boss damage, a bonus commodity for clearing quivers.

3. change your 21/20 explosive arrow to your boss setup, it isnt needed in clear, only a commodity

4. if you really wana push get a 21/23 EA for single target dps, and get a +1 dex gem Fire Dot Multi amulet

Before I talk myself into something I might regret, how effective is this build on say a 8-9 ex budget?

The 2 quill rains + perfect kaoms and 21/20 EA is going to cost about 7 exalts.
