Elemental Focus is a mistake. You can't chill, you can't freeze. Thats why you are dying.
If you are on tight budget get Hypothermia. If you got Exalts buy Awakened Added Cold Damage or Awakened Cold Penetration. I suggest both.





Also I am not a big fan of Skyfort's. Omeyocan gives you up to 20% dodge and spell dodge which is huge. You need more mana on your gear to get full benefit of this boots.
As for Skyforth - stun is not a problem, power charge generation you can do with frostbolt + power charge on crit. Later upgrade to Farrul's Fur so they are obsolete.

Why allocating Storm Weaver? Get Heart of Ice. Its way more dps - more dps = everything dies faster = less chance to kill you.
Same goes for jewels. Get cast speed + crit multi + life for more dps. Flat cold damage/spell damage/area damage is bad for this build.
Change Rotgut for Rumi. Fix your mana flask! I strongly suggest checking my gear.


wow.. and yes Hypothermia and completing the Level 4 Laby is the key. I rarely die on tier 14 now after using Hypothermia.

I think Arcinde (OP) is running a variation of the tree that includes it, I'm considering to swap over to his variation but not had chance to POB the difference yet. I think the Arcane Surge node is probably worth for the cast speed buff


Was just messing around with the Thread of Hope jewels(intuitive leap but in a ring) and discovered that the medium ring roll lets you hit both Arcane Capacitor and Divine Judgement.

This got me thinking if a max rank arcane surge as a part of the 6L would be worth it. Does the buff affect both the global bonus and the linked bonus or just the global bonus? If it's both, with the 50% increased effect you have 2 30% more multipliers and a 30% increased cast speed buff vs the 19% more spell dmg and 19% increased cast speed of level 7 arcane surge with arcane capacitor and whatever the weakest 6th link on Ice Nova is.

Thanks for the build, I've been playing it for a few days now and I am impressed. It feels nice to play and works well. Although I have a question about damage output.
It seems you are doing about three times more damage than I am according to PoB, and I can't figure out why since we have quite similar gear. I'd like some help. Thanks in advance.

Would also let you avoid pathing through the 3 small nodes to get to Light of Divinity and Holy Dominion, so you can go north towards Witch spawn from templar start instead of through Holy Dominion right?

Hey guys,

I've min maxed this build and I think I'm comfortable enough to say that I have pretty much BiS gear and tree for this build. Feel free to look at my character and PoB for yourself.

As for Farruls Fur; it's definitely BiS. Free max power charges and frenzy charges all the time. You lose your frenzy charges for about 1 second, but your power charges are always on no matter what because we get the 10% increased duration in the heirophant ascendancy.

I fooled around with arcane capacitor and a lvl 21 arcane support gem and it was definitely not worth using. I don't need the extra Mana and the gem itself lowered my dps.
Best gem setup even after the new boss resistances is: Awakened added Cold - Awakened Controlled Destruction - Awakened Spell Echo - Intensify - Conc.

Cold pen lowers my DPS. Intensify is too op. I can safely say I always have 3 intensify stacks and almost always 4.

The next step for me right now is getting Awakened curse on hit -storm brand - Frostbite. Double curse with assassin's mark on hit ring and Frostbite on CoH setup.

Edit: Something to also add is shocking conflux on my helmet. It gives 20% more damage since I get to shock now. Really OP if you get the chance to craft something like I did. I think it's mirror tier worthy, but not too sure.

Wouldn't Arcane Capacitor keep overwriting your ~level 7 arcane surge with level 1 on kill, making it way less good than advertised? Only a 15% dmg/cast at max stacks over 13% with a normal lvl 7 gem on frostbolt.

Shocking Conflux seems pretty great on helmet. I tried rolling a bunch but never got it. 37.5% uptime on a guaranteed shock with this build's damage levels that lasts 2 seconds I think. Probably 10% more damage on average which should be like 2 added damage roll's worth.

A plain Hunter helmet with shocking conflux/cold damage prefix/delve -9% resist should outdo any non-insane 40% ice nova helm and you'd get like 300 fossil rolls at it for the same price as an ice nova helm ilvl80+....

Edit: Oh since curse on hit has always been funky with minions I'd test before assuming Awakened Curse on Hit will apply two curses that way. When you "apply" Assassin's Mark with your Ice Nova hit it will check your base curse limit of one and might overwrite your dual curse. You might have to just use a 6 link frostbolt setup with awakened curse on hit + 2 curses linked and ditch the assmark ring.

Once I get it I'll know for sure. Just gotta find a decently priced one. One person who had one tested it for me with an assassins mark ring and a spell on CoH, and he said they applied both. The lvl 5 Gem does does this gem can apply additional curse to enemies. Which I read as the CoH gem is the additional curse.

And yea you would be correct with arcane capacitor.

Shocking Conflux is best in slot on a helm for sure. Ice nova damage is fine if you can get it, but all ilvl86+ based cost like 10+ex

what are the best pantheons in general and more important, for sirus fight? i know i read arakaali in the guide but something feels wrong with that to me.. but mayb the wrong am i?
