@HOGM, you killed every dude but one?? How the hell did you even manage that? HOGM is the standard STFAF* map for zombie pimps.

Some zombies died after every second wave, had to resummon them quite often. My Spectres were always the lone survivors, but the main killers were my skeletons. They killed everything.
Only that one dude took care of them super quickly and he lost maybe 2/3 of his shield at most even with all those vaal skeletons. I could try go at him with them only once, not many things to kill there to fill them up again.

Conquerors get more difficult each time you encounter them. Until they cap at lvl83. Even if you play mid-tier level maps - you still have to take them down in maps equivalent to T14-16 difficulty.

I was looking at a taunt jewel before, but was not sure if it would work with such a low %. I will look at it again.

Well that explains why I am having more trouble now facing the conquers, they are getting tougher as it goes along. I think I have faced them all about 3 times each. Getting near that anyways.

HOGM yeah always hear it was a no go with Necro.

Getting the Soul of Shakari is tough as I do not have the map for it. This league it is in a t15 Desert Spring Map. I think I need to work on Soul of Lunaris to help with projectiles for now.

My trick for the Conquers now is to when they spawn in to fight a bit to get the Vaal Skeletons up. Skip everything and find the boss. Fight the boss without the Vaal Skeletons. Go fight Conquer with Vaal Skeletons up.

If I die, I go back and fight mobs to get Vaal Skeletons back then go back in.
Makes the fights a little easier. Once the Conquer is down, go back and clean up the map and fight metamorph if I want.

You're all the best. Thanks for being so great to each other.

(Next league I'm trimming back down to 4 guides so my replies are more frequent. Sorry for the long delay between replies.)

Do you know yet which of the builds (aside from the one you already cut) is getting the axe?

My guess would be
Zombies (Zombie On!)
Curse vortex (black hole creating fun)
Trigger happy (mobs kill themselves)
RF (god mode)

Those 4 are all perfect league starters, fantastic to run to end game too and even if you want to min max they don't go into crazy amounts of chaos/exa's

Haven't played much for past few weeks xmas, work etc... but still lurking and loving all the discussion in this thread

Wrecker your a legend with all you do for the players 🙃
Hey Foogalicious!

Thanks for saying "hi" on Mixer! 0nyX, good guesses. I think you may be correct. Unless I decide to make Slow-Mo-Zombies CI (avoiding getting stunned is the biggest issue with that), It'd have to be between the two melee guides.

I have had to narrow down my guides from covering specific mechanics to something much more simple. So it's now down to:

- A minion guide
- A spell guide
- A melee guide
- A bow guide
(I'd like at least one to be life-based and at least one to be CI)

Now, the hard part is the RF guide. RF is awesome. Not NEEDING specific gear to play RF is pretty unique. That's hard to give up.

Also, because I can't actually aim on PC, a bow build would need to be an AoE that can be layed on the ground (like Caustic Arrow) or ballistas. That's basically what I'm limited to. Without needing specific gear, I can't find any bow skill I like and make it strong enough. I have a Caustic Arrow build that I really like, but unless Slow-Mo goes CI, I'd still choose RF over CA because CA as a Trickster is pretty "cookie-cutter".

Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, as of now, the 4 will be Slow-Mo, RF, Vortex, Trigger.

(Thanks 0nyX. That's very kind of you to say and I appreciate your encouragement (as always :)).)

Guys, I need you help once again.

Which helmet is better:

Vaal skeletons, Minion damage, Minion Life and Infernal Legion gems

or

with Vaal skeletons, Minion Life, Immolate, Infernal Legion.

---

Which one gives more potential damage? 2 supports on Elder helmet or +2 to level of socketed minion gems on Bone helmet?
Hey M_atrix!

I like the Bone Helmet, but my guess is that the Praetor Crown would deal the most damage. Nice finds/purchases!

Yes, I'd pick 2 because of the burning damage and my SRS totems.

Wrecker, I have abandoned all builds and once again find myself devoted to this lady! I had life issues so I gave up my 8 mod helm for this:
An 8 mod helm with life! LOL 1ex
Ohhhh shit, just looked on POB, zombie slam is 75k vs shaper, skeletons is 115k!
Those skeletons are brutes, don't count them out of the fight!
So with SRS I am at 2million shaper DPS with all my friends working hard... I'll take it!
Now I am feeling like I can take a hit and really having a blast ANYWHERE!
Did a 3 stone conqueror last night(The ice chick), good delving and blighted maps are amazing!
I love hearing Cassia and race to clear a spot for the encounters!
Metamorphs are going good, rippy in maps but in tanes lab it seems easy.
I see Tane likes to hand out MASSIVE life chests! Like 140 to life and 10% increased maximum!

Great league, loving the Necro, saw the numbers... 24% playing Necro in the bow league doesn't look good for the future... but we will see.

I'm not very far yet because I started 5 toons, but I think I have again made my final decision!

Zombie on!
Hey GrunkleBob!

Ha ha! Better watch your back! Your other characters will be coming for you...hunting you down.

Awesome helm! That's a nice life roll too! (I'm not sure if you were serious or joking about "life stuff" coming up. If you were serious, that sucks. I hope it gets better for you soon.)

Awesome build! You've made your version fantastic! Great job!

Zombie on.

Well that is what happens when the company nerfs certain bow skills during a bow league.

Thing with Necro is that you surive longer due to other things the mobs have to focus on.

Speaking of which Help!! I need Help!!

I am getting one shotted on these dang Conquers now.
All through t1 to t10 maps I have had no real issues. Once I hit level 88 though I can't keep alive on these guys. Even some metamorphs are screwing me over.

The damage from my team is fine, I have killed all the conquers so far, but the last 2 I had like 5 and 2 deaths on them, mind you one had a tempest spirit in their area and it went in them so that was a right off and 5 deaths.

I know it is them as I am running all my maps normal just to farm the conquers and watch stones. I while worry about Atlas progression once I have more watch stones.

Anyways I am at 4381 Life and 896 ES. I still say I need to replace my chest piece for a 5 link with life on it.

Not sure where else I can improve my life.

Anyone have any thoughts on where I can improve my life.
Hey x Peleus x!

I see two things:

- Currently, you have 141% to max life on your tree. I typically never make a build lower than 170%. So even if you got amazing life rolls on your gear, you'd have a hard time hitting 5000 life.
- Fully ascending will help you a lot. The one you're missing is can be very defensive.

I hope that helps.

Well, I play solo self found (can't go and buy something from others) and my resists sit at:

Fire: 103%
Cold: 96%
Lightning: 93%
Chaos: 95%

My life: 5207
ES: 454 only

I would love a new ES chest, but I have perfect Life rolls on the current one, so it will be hard to find a good replacement.

Chaos resist is absolutely important, especially if you want to fight metamorphs. Once I got to 40% chaos resist I started to see that metamorphs are much less damaging. And once I capped it - haven't had problems with them ever since.

And the biggest thing that helped my survivability is this
jewel. Taunt is absolutely extremely awesome and I can just sit in the back and apawn skeletons and don't worry about Bosses or Metamorphs going at me - they just don't care about me anymore. ^^

I would say that Baran (the lightning dude) is the hardest for me to deal with. I always die to him at least once. And Drox. Sometimes I'm to slow to react to his big fist coming at me. So yeah, he can take a life or two also. The poison dude is super easy, especially with the pantheon's Soul Of Shakari immune to poison. And the Cold chick is easy to kill too.

Sirus is a pain in the ass. Lags everytime he yells "Diiiieeee!!" in the last phase. Managed to kill him only 3 times out of 5 and never without getting killed.

But the hardest one for me is - Minotaur. I can't imagine how to kill him without dying. I dunno. it's impossible for me. First time I died 6 times without killing him, second time got him after 3 deaths...

Yesterday I tried Hall of Grandmasters and killed everyone except 1. I just couldn't touch Scoli_Gubben. His ES regen way too good and he kills every single minion in seconds. It seems that you need Scorching Ray to deal with him. So I left him be for now.

/end of rant ^^
Hey M_atrix!

Awesome job with Sirus and HoGM! That's great! They take getting used to. You'll be deathless with Sirus in no time. HoGM is PVP scaling and I never make my builds to accommodate that map.

With the Minotaur, it's tough with minions because they make the map and the ground effects hard to see. But the key to that fight is staying close to him. Always try and stand at his back. Back HUG! You, of course, will have a few things to avoid, but you'll be able to control its attacks a bit and be pretty safe by staying close and by their back.

Not really. That last trail is dodging me like crazy right now.

Hmm I thought I got all the same life nodes as your build said to get.
Am I missing something. I will have to take a look.

I think I will find a Vaal Regalia and use my Jewelers touch on it and just run a 5 link for a bit. Of course I do that and then a 6 link will drop. So it has to be done regardless. I will make sure the Vaal Regalia is at least ilvl 81 or higher to try to get 110 - 129 life on it.

No serious life stuff, just machines in constant need :)
I repair cancer treatment machines (linear accelerators) sometimes they need a week long hug... Life is good otherwise!
I will wear your ghost and you will die twice, against me and for me.
That is some cold blooded shit to say...
