[3.12 Ready] CoC Discharge Assassin - 10M+ Shaper DPS

around what level would you recommend levelling up toward cluster jewels? i'm 75 atm and are able to clean maps really smooth and defence is holding up good for now.

the cluster effects seem to be pretty strong, is it something to aim for at around 90 or is it better to get up there as soon as possible for the DPS increase?

using devotos devotion with this build is super nice too.. the 16% attack speed and 20% movespeed and +50 dex is all just glorious, and chaos res cant hurt too.

Hey, I'm kinda new. Where do you find the "Hits Can't be evaded" modifier? I'm asking cause I want the build to get rolling as fast as possible.

You have to do Betrayal content (Master Jun), unveiling weapons from Vagan. Craft cost is 3ex.

Hello. I was using Starkonja way back in 3.5, so I see your reasoning behind Devoto's. But rare helmet, with 30% Chance for discharge not to consume charges enchant is BiS since it's insane damage upgrade for tougher bosses.

To Cluster Jewel. Since you'll do one Fettle (maybe 2, if you decide to drop another Crit multi jewel), It's 18% hp and 20 Flat hp. It's great, you can get some nasty stuff on Large cluster jewel as an addition, but it's quite a few points, so I'd push basic % Life nodes first, take 1-2 passive Jewel sockets, and then make my way towards grabbing Cluster jewel. Which in your case, would be at around level 90 or so probably (finishing taking stuff in it, that is).

yeah i still have a ways to go in terms of BiS and the enchant is nuts for this build. that was what i was thinking too, finish getting all 9 life nodes then on to the rest of the jewel sockets.

Hello. No, it's not an APS issue. The reason why you see only Lightning discharge goes off is because you discharge more Power charges than Endurance/Frenzy. So if you have 7 Power charges, and 5 Endurance 99% of the time, you'll see lightning discharge go off, but the fire damage is added to it as well, even tho the visual effect doesn't show it, same goes for the Cold (Frenzy) version. The Cold damage is added to discharge, you just see visual effect of discharge that consumed highest amount of charges which is Lightning (Power)


Thanks for your reply. I didn't know this. When i watched the recent GGG showcase of the new Discharge MTX i saw all the different effects going off. Is this because all Power/Frenzy/Endurance charges are the same level then? like all have exactly same amount of charges?

is it possible to run with a cospri malice? i have the dex and i have the weapon. does this mess up how often discharge will proc or anything else?
im running the normal 6 link set up. just the cospri with say ice nova or something in it as extra damage in general. i feel like im doing more damage with it but i dont know really.

It is possible to run this build with Cospri, I just didn't want to since it's a lot of dex you need for it but rare weapon with rare shield will outclass Cospri by miles. No, you won't get screwed by procs, if you ideally can push for 8 aps exactly. I am doing 6.7M damage per proc with Discharge. With very basic gear, you can easily achieve 2M per proc and slowly upgrade from there. I've slapped on some basic gear, and got 2.5M damage per Discharge (With Assassin's Mark + Wave Of Conviction, I'd push it to almost 3M).

So yes, Cospri can be used, but I recommend Rare Dagger (with Hits can't be evaded)/Rare Shield combo since it'll perform better at high level maps/bosses like Shaper/Sirus.

They definitely didn't scale any charges, just to be able to showcase all 3 colors during clear. So they had basic max amount of charges which is 3.
