Buying a helmet with fire leech should be your first priority imo, also a watcher's eye with precision AS is cheap.

EDIT: Also just wanted to let everyone know that removing fortify for awakened fire dmg/pen on your cyclone link is NOT worth it.

Hmm, is it really? From what I read one game second = 990ms (30x33ms). With no CDR our nominal ".150ms" cool down gets rounded up to five full "ticks(?)". 5x33= 165ms, so this is our standard cool down. 990/165 = 6, so normally we can fit in 6 attacks within one game second. This 6APS threshold.

Now, with at least 14% CDR we manage go go below 132ms (4x33ms), thus our CDR is .132. 990/132= exactly 7.5, not 7.57. The math seems to speak for itself. So what would explain the 7.57 number? Some other factor some people did not take into consideration? Can you show some sources confirming this 7.57?

It seems that we actually take 1000ms for our math, not 990ms. 1000/132 = 7.57 indeed.

Why's that? You can just move it to the mobility setup and remove either whirling blades or culling strike. WoC is my biggest hitting skill.

About APS, one more time.

I used to use Cospri + shield and I was at safe 7.38 APS (14% CDR of course, from the belt). Then I switched to double Cospiri setup and my APS went to over 8, too much.

I dropped Starkonja's Head for a rare helmet without IAS, but with two +14% IAS Cospris I am at 7.52 APS - probably the worst case scenario, slighty above the safe threshold (for 14% CDR).

I intend to replace one Cospri with a slower one (+12% IAS), but here is the question:

With such a setup (+14%/+12%) PoB shows me:
Global attack rate - 7.45 = OK, but...
MainHand attack speed - 7.52
Offhand attack speed - 7.39
Attacks per second - (7.52 + 7.39) / 2 = 7.45.

Is it OK? Is the average APS from both weapons is what matters for Cyclone, or do I need to replace both my Cospris with +13% IAS ones, so that both of then separately actually go below 7.50 APS (7.48 APS according to PoB)?


With 2 Cospris you don't want 7.5 APS. You want 15 APS. That's the only possibility to get 2x 7.5 casts. As long as you don't have 15 APS - you get your APS/2 = numbers of casts per Cospri

That's valid as long as you have one spell in each cospri. If you have more - that would result in even more needed APS or even less casts per second per spell.

Can someone please guide me, I really don't know what I'm doing, I'm just following Esoro's guide. I have 7.5 aps right now but apparently you want 15 for 2 cospris.

What items do I need to change to get 15 APS and 90+ crit chance?

I tried putting awakened fire dmg/pen over fortify on my cyclone and I died a lot whereas when I put fortify backed in, I didn't die a single time from 92-94 doing juiced up T15-T16's (with yolo metamorphs)/Sirus A8/UE. It just feels much more safer than trying to whirling blades/leap slam something just to get a fortify proc.
I really have low damage, i was killing the hydra for 3 mins, this is not ok, then what i can do, waiting for answer

You copied base build, which hasnt been updated for new juice, and made some mistakes. Read thru comments many ppl including me made changes for 3.9 patch.
So... @Chesco or anyone else who thinks they might have an answer, i found what i call the WTF gem when running a legion map the other day. Just got around to testing it in gem slots and this seems so broken right here... 20% damage per power charge and lots of crit chance/multiplier. Would it be worth it to lose the few nodes we use there?
