idk base dmg nerf is pretty big
Hard to tell. The base damage nerf is huge, but the final spike is 200% more. So i wonder how would it be possible to even use it for bosses

Glacial Cascade
Glacial Cascade now rapidly creates a sequence of damaging areas, each of which knocks back enemies it hits. Modifiers to the skill's area of effect no longer affect the overall range of the skill. Instead, larger areas overlap with each other more. This can allow you to hit an enemy several times with a single cast much more reliably. The final part of the cascade now deals significantly more damage to enemies.
Now has a mana cost of 10 at gem level 1, up to 20 at gem level 20.
Now has a cast time of 0.6 seconds.
Now deals 21 to 32 physical damage at gem level 1, up to 207 to 311 physical damage at gem level 20.
Now converts 100% of physical damage to cold damage.
The final spike now deals 200% more damage.
Now knocks enemies back on hit.

gc l20 was 354 to 531. big nerf but alternate q20 might save gc bossing, lol.
pretty sure the clear speed is gonna suck with knockback thrown in.
looks like gc totems may enjoy these changes more than gc miner.

Hello,

I've been leveling with GC / Mine and so far so good, act 7 without any real need to farm or take time to upgrade my gear (still on a 4 link).

With this new mechanic it becomes really important to know where to throw the mines, but you see when you've got this nice last hit. It's sad that there's no better feedback (either visual or sound) to really know when you get a last hit but that has always been POE problem.

Anyway, really active gameplay, Bear Traps help a lot during lvling, frost shield is nice too (you throw the mine at your feet and get extra protection from the shield and all monsters arounds get pushed with GC, ending at the good distance to be hit by the end of the spell.

With Izaro it's really easy as he's not very quick to move around but it will be problematic on over boss during maps I guess.
