[3.21] ShakCentral's Cold DoT Elementalist For Everyone

I put the Lethal pride in the slot from the build guide, and took the Cluster Jewel slot on the top left, right below Minion Instability.

Ok I also have a question:

I still feel squishy :( I'm sure part of it is that I'm kind of bad, but I hope at least part of it can be mitigated with expensive gear?? Or has capitalism finally failed me?



I've checked some builds on PoE ninja, and noone is using Heretic's which is fine, but a lot of people are actually using Prism Guardian.

Adding a 400 ES spirit shield to my PoB brings my total ES to >10k, but is the raw value my problem?

Because, with the current rings I don't have much Faster start of ES regen, and I'm not sure if that is more important?

Hi, ive noticed that you use 2 curses for this build but however you did not take whisper of doom or malediction in the pob. Will you be updating the pob anytime soon? Thank you!

I might have missed that part in the PoB. Once I get to level 80-85+ I generally swap to Malediction and start running the 2 curse Blasphemy setup. Especially once you get Presence of Chayula and don't need that source of stun immunity anymore

With people pushing Vortex to new levels of both damage and tankiness, I no longer think Glancing Blows is the best use of a jewel slot. If you wanted to use both, I'd put the cluster jewel in the upper left spot above EO and use Glancing Blows like normal

I had a small in there, but had to move it at lvl 94 when I bought some new gear pieces. Planning to add a small in with the next few passives if I can

Redid my tree abit, went for Sovereignty cluster to fit in 3 50% auras in Prism Guardian. Also grabbed a clarity es/dot multi male Watchers eye and crafted a new belt! SO running Hatred, Zealotry, Malevolence, Clarity, Discipline and Aspect of Spider. And on blasphemy Enfeeble+Frostbite for now to try out the combo!

10.5k ES in hideout now with auras, 1,150M dot dps (in hideout with auras and without any proccs or flasks) and still managed to balance out all resistances perfectly. Even Chaos resistance at 60+. Got room for couple small improvements such as elder unset ring to fit back arcane surge for a nice multiplier but it will be painful to find a perfect fit for my build to balance out all resistances again and keep Chaos at decently high value! Switched out Temporal Chains for Frostbite atm since Spider allready makes enemies slower and more dmg is always nice!

I decided to make this my 3.10 focus and put a lot of effort into it. I think I hit a wall though on overall ES and DoT. Lots of people seem to have 10k+ ES and millions of DoT for Vortex. Any idea what I'm missing?

Your gear is excellent and your tree very decent. (you can squeeze a mark of the shaper i guess)

From there you have 2 options.

- Going crazy with double corruptions on chest and your prism guardian, and get a wand wand with "+2" (+1 level to all spell/cold/skill/int jewels). The cheapest on the market is 25ex atm, and it's pretty crap outside that. But Gem levels scale lineraly, while spell damgage or +cdot don't, making it one of the few to really scale vortex damage. (and that's one of the 2 reason I prefer CI, i can get an amulet with +2 and a shield with +1).

- plug a cluster jewel. But that means TONS of hours spent in pob, orb or regrets and tears ;)

I'm in a similar spot to neo1987. Spent a bunch of time but feel like I'm getting a bit stuck.

I copied larsahh_ going for the Sovereignty cluster to run some more auras. It's a lot less than his since my gear is a lot lower end but I feel like I'm suffering more from survivability than DPS. Did my first Simulacrum yesterday and died once at 19 then got blasted at 20 - is that just expected? Also sometimes find myself explodign out of nowhere while running semi-juiced up T15/16 maps.

Obvious first points I are fixing gloves / boots for more ES. The ones I have right now are just convenient for res and stats. Then upgrading my weapon and at some point maybe getting Spider on gear and putting clarity back in.

Spent a lot of time messing around in PoB and I think the clusters I have are worth their weight in points since they give a lot of ES, DoT DPS, and other things like shocking. At some point would plan to add the Fingers of Frost cluster back.

Just want to make sure there's not something else obvious I'm missing.
