Thanks for the amazing build! Trying it on hcssf for the first time ever, got to the maps. Have a question about lootfilter. It has an error when loading (something with blood magic support). Any updates for the filter?

Had same problem.
On POE WIKI - Version 3.14.0 split Blood Magic Support into two separate support gems: Arrogance Support and Lifetap Support.

So open Shak_Ritual_Ossuary.filter - you can open it in notepad.
Find Blood magic support and replace it for Arrogance Support save it and reload filter in game.
Didn't quite see this, but how would I go about making the build even more tanky? I'm getting occasional freezes whenever I start an ultimatum encounter that can at times kill me, so I figure I'd rather sacrifice some DPS to boost survivability even more. Otherwise, this build's been solid!
At what point should I be looking to drop Skitterbots and Herald of Lightning for Malevolence? I'm finding it hard to convince myself to give up the shock and chilled debuffs from Skitterbots, even though Malevolence is so good.
Is there an alternative to mines during the early leveling?

I'm on console and seems like mines would be pretty inconvenient on a controller.

You must be having a problem other than freezing. You have Frigid Wake allocated. You are freeze and chill immune.

I found the mines not worth using.

You can use either Freezing Pulse or Frost Bomb until you get Creeping Frost. Then you can use Creeping Frost for a long time.

If you figure it out, please tell me! I'm only lvl 63 but Ultimatums explode me instantly. Like a ripe pimple, are others finding they can complete Ultimatums ok?

I don't think we ever use Herald of Lighting at any point while leveling (it is not mentioned in the leveling notes in the POB) so feel free to drop that at any time.

I switched over to Malevolence at the same time I switched to Vortex/Cold Snap. Cold Snap provides plenty of chilling and Malevolence is much higher DOT damage than the shock skitter.

Also add discipline at the same time.

All right, I made the transition to LL. I got the gear, but zero clusters. Slightly ironically, I feel like the damage didn't improve that much, while the survivability did, due to the ES regen.

A few questions:

Due to being on a budget, I couldn't fit in Aspect of the Spider for now. As a consequence, I have a lot of unreserved mana. Any suggestions?

What does Vaal Clarity do for the build? I feel like it's not doing anything? I'm ready to be proven wrong.

After doing the LL swap, just how much should I prioritize the regen nodes, like Shaper and Quick Recovery? Are they more important than, say, Insightfulness? Or should I remove some other node for them?

And damn, the attributes really are a bitch to fit in without massively bloating the price.

My next upgrades are anointing and qualitying Presence, getting a Cinderswallow, and then 6l Shavs, followed by 21 Vortex. (and fixing my ascension tomorrow). If anyone wants to chime in, you're more than welcome.

Edit: if I'm not sure about Clarity, have a lot of unreserved mana, and prefer passive curses... what do people think about Blasphemy setups? ...How good is Blasphemy + Profane Bloom for clear?

I just looked to your char and see that you are using a 3 link on vortex. Maybe that's why your damage did not go up ?
