What you guys think about these old equips aiming fit into this build?

Will be a crap ton of ES, maybe 14,000-15,000, but the damage will be lackluster. The new +lvl gem stuff is stupid OP and better than almost any legacy stuff I have in the standard bank (been playoff since beta).
I’d use all the GG ES gear, but get machina mitts, a +2/3 chest and +1 weapon and shield.
I would like to switch over to this build, or if anyone can assist me in fixing the build im using atm. i already invested quite a bit of currency with the build im using now but yeah, i followed a guide that was kind of questionable. find myself dying a little too frequently.

my budget would be around 13ex. probably more closer to 15ex, just havent converted the rest of my currency.
On mobile atm, so can’t check it. But if you follow the guide your should be good to go. Pathing and build is same for most of the Meta mine skills other than purifying flame.
If your character is public I’ll take a look at it later this evening.

Bought a 6 link shavs and a chayula neck last night. just need to rework my tree and fill out the rest with ES gear etc.

Yes, multiple people have already posted about it. And I did him twice fairly easily in standard with gear from blight, no legacy stuff aside 10% more ele as chaos, which doesn’t add much overall.

No problem, it’s hard to mess up really. Just want high ES, shavs and presence, a good weapon and the correct gem setup.

Got same question, as i dont know how this build works compared to 3.8 and videos, metamorphs are stronger compared to guardians and sirus is a pain.
With the gear levels in the videos it still feels just like that, lower gear levels are really the only place that icicle struggles, as do the other meta mine spells, arc, ball lightning, ice spear etc. the two that do really well on a budget are purifying flame and pyroclast, but those have much poorer clear.
Honestly I’m really surprised how little changed in the clear with the nerf to to the number of projectiles. It still feels almost exactly the same, the only thing that is different is that in blight you can’t stand on the pump (blighted maps) and clear the entire zone from there.
Also, have done Sirus on standard a few times easily with the same gear and some other people have posted in the thread about it this league as well. I’m hopeful that I’ll have some playtime this weekend to get him down in league, just planning on doing it CI to show that it can be done on a pretty tight budget for icicle.

Im interested on the LL option, as CI looks worst but cheaper. Machima is the problem, not cheap, and i dont have any +1 weapons, they smells to rich things too. Without the +1 weapons theres nothing to do? I want to change, as the one im playing is very oneshotable, just 5k ES.
