Yeah, works flawless,
Cyclone description doesnt exclude few types of weapons, so I guess you can do that with all 1h/2h MELEE weapons.

Still looking for some information about my build, what to aim etc.

dont u have lack of dmg at high tier maps when killing morph or map boss? somewhere nearly t14-t15 maps?

I would take multimod craft staff to INSANELY boost my dmg, but 15 ex dude... can't afford it yet :)

I had a lvl 83 Ice Shot dead eye that ran maps fine, just boss DPS was terrible, so I switched over to this build. Just hit level 70 last night and loving it so far.

Do I cyclone around the whole map or just run and let zombies kill? I'm finding that with cyclone so much stuff is going on I'll stop and cyclone around dead enemies for 5 min before I realize they are all dead, so my map running is a little slow.

With the ice shot I shot 1 time and everything on screen guaranteed died and quite a few off screen. But I sold everything on that char and bought stuff for this guy, so um stuck with 1 char bow and currently broke.
how does withering step interact with the cyclone setup we have? do we still gain full benifit from the wither? im trying the chaos to extra phys variant if anyone has some ideas?
As soon as you activate Cyclone Withering Step Phasing dissapears. The idea is to Cyclone until you get Spirit Offering for 20 secs. Then apply Withering step , use Quicksilver flask and run thru the mobs watching them being massacred by your minions thanks to the massive debuffs Withering gives and you are Elusive too. As soon as Withering Step finishes you Cyclone and there you go you have Withering again thanks to Withering Touch. Rinse and repeat.

Phase Run or Flame Dash don't give us any offensive skill. Withering does. A lot.

Let's sum up this build and my journey as I completed this league doing 36/40.

I started ice shot deadeye. Having 15 ex stuff I was unable to kill high tier metamorphs sometimes with particular mods and it was not rare case (really, lack of damage). This build was a game changer for me (ice shot sucks while bossing, which is important this league), but it's not as ideal as described, because of nerfs that really hurt. Bossing with it is really convenient, you just need to stay in some distance from target for your zombies to attack and dodge stuff, damage is "decent+". Mapping hurts a bit, as I used to play high MS/clear speed builds like tornado shot (tanky impale TS/barrage champion always in my heart [*]), would rate 6/10.

Things I killed solo:
- Shaper (deathless)
- Elder (deathless)
- Uber Elder (2 deaths cuz I sukk)
- Sirus (atlas level 4, 3 deaths, vortex between phases is something I can't do properly, the fight itself is pretty easy)
- Chayula (deathless)

I did not kill Mastermind in area of level 83, just because I didn't have enough Jun missions remaining to spawn the encounter.

As you can notice I stacked chaos res on my jewelry. Why? It greatly increases survivability in both Al-zhmeimer and Sirus fights (in the second case chaos vortexes did a lot less damage, but were still deadly AF, so don't try to jump right in the middle). If you feel like vortex phase is easy, chaos res also might be useful in last Sirus phase when he shoots deadly beam (screaming "Die!"). You will most likely be dead anyway when hit, but sometimes may be lucky.

To sum up - I'm not super happy with this build, it has some shortcomings (again - due to nerfs, didn't play it before to compare) at least in moderate budget. Survivability with 11k HP/ES is good, additionally has some damage reduction and damage avoidance layers to boost it. Needed to tweak tree a little for zombies to survive more, but rarely died anyway only in particular encounters. I felt like zombie damage is too low, so I went skelly setup in chest, then it was fine. Mapping is average+, additional downside is equipment swap when you gotta go fast.

My score: 7.5/10
Hello, I've been doing this build this league, and I feel like I'm lacking dps in T14+

Also my zombies die on forge of the phoenix / others

What should I upgrate?

I also have another 6L chest with a skeleton spec

Wait do we use withering step? Haven't seen that skill mentioned in POB or on his initial post.
i see many people running minion damage support instead of main on zombies 6l? is that the better choice?

regarding the withering step setup. should it replace the auras 6link?
if so then whats the withering step 6link would look like? and what/where can we run auras? if any.

thats what i was kinda doing but just found when im not using cyclone alot i get chunked by a big hit from either a metamorph or boss since im not getting es back i guess i just have to get use to it, since i always just hard casted cyclone for the whole map

may I ask ask, i chose this build because of the video where he just run super fast and everything dies behind him, are you saying with 3.9 its not the same?you cannot run super fast? why is map clearspeed so low for you?!

does anyone have a video of clcearspeed and bossing with medium gear? in 3.9?
i mean i believe OP has gear worth around 200ex so it would be nice to see what a real video would look like, more like 10ex budget (average player)
