Skellies deal a LOT more damage than Zombies after the nerf. Give them a go. Run both if you can. ANd yes, Shapers Touch are expensive but BIS.

Metamorph SSF, had to change bunch of stuff around but basically the same build, pure life based, you can check my tree for reference if u dont find The Baron or other essential uniques

Brunowa, does the chest with extra maximum ES for the AG need to be elder or can it be normal?

I just spawned him for my 2nd attempt (first one was like WTF?).

I got him (albeit 2 deaths)!

I used the legacy mace because I wanted to learn the fight and actually progress the atlas. Based on HISCH's comment above I didn't use AG just to be sure :P

Will upload video shortly. You can probably learn from what I did or did not do.

Congrats on the take down. It looks like the fight will be a royal pain. The "rewards" seem totally out of sync with the effort you have to go through just to get to this fight, though I shouldn't be surprised (UE was never that fantastic either).

Looks like Staves and Skellies are the new OP combo these days (as per Aris's comment above) ?

Since skeletons feel like our new top damage over zombies, could we possibly take Minion Instability since we (or maybe only me) are suummoning them all the time?

so for spectres i run 1 carnagae 1 host 1 hellion and 1 evanglist
would it be better just running 2x of carnage/host?

Doesn't it make more sense to put Ravenous Horde on our amulet, rather than Death Attunement? The nodes are better at Death attunements.

Skeleton Life is about 8000.So 2000 explosion DPS after they die. That would make spawning them even more repetitive and painful for little gain.

Cut me some slack guys as I've never done the fight before :P Hence the sloppiness and wondering around aimlessly.

2 deaths. But you should be able to take away something from this for when you get to him.

P.S. and apologies on the graphics. I play on a 7 year old laptop and this fight just melted my graphics card.
