Very strong build+dmg wise, but i have a question. Do you have a CI version of it? i'm thinking how to make CI w/o losing dmg or other vital bonuses this build gives because of the Sirus fight.
I was wondering the exact same thing. Since chaos damage is such an issue for this build as is, is it possible to make this build CI viable?

Spirit Offering does not work with CI unfortunately. That said, it's been done via wicked ward and ES on hit as the primary modes of recovery.
Going LL with Shavs is a lot more feasible though if you want to benefit from Spirit Offering.
The difficulty of going pure ES in general is socket space (Blood Magic is just another gem) and getting good eHP without sacrificing other things. Hard, not impossible. But I find it easier to just get lots of chaos res.
I'm looking at your profile and not seeing this setup :P
Looks like you're trying my old self cast budget version. Which is totally fine if you're comfortable with that playstyle. But drop soul tether as you have no life leech anywhere. That's a bad time.
As for the other matter, No leash without Offering Chest. And with no leash,. no bone/flesh offering. A lot of what you'll need is levels and/or an extra source of ES recovery. ES on hit with Fenumus Spinnerets+Aspect of the Spider is a pretty inexpensive source of it and works wonderfully for offsetting damage and boosting recovery. You can also allocate Light Eater and Ghost Reaver for 5 points for the ES leech; this was good enough for me until I got Spinnerets. Physical mitigation also helps. Soul of Gruthkul (5%), Chaos Golem (4%) Endurance charges from Charging Offensive (12%) all add up and help smooth out the damage.
Thank you very much for your answer! My problem really was the damage mitigation. I got myself aspect of the spider and the fenumu's boots for the ES regen. Doing Tier:9 maps atm and doing well. I'm still getting 1 shotted by metamorphs randomly, even with 48% chaos resist, 3Klife+3.1kES.
Should I aim for more chaos resist or more Life? [or both ofc if I get enough currency]
Hey just a quick question for a LL version of this build:
You guys think it would be viable using the new unique maybe throw in a presence of chayula and going low life with this build? would be one more free aura and with op mana flask and 1k unreserved mana chaos would be no problem in most cases.
I finally got Aul in delve. It's my first Aul ever. Do you recommend to disable AG for the fight or can he survive?
I never had any issues with his survival VS Aul in 3.8 (I ran Aul carries for parties of 4)
So I would say it's okay. Of course GGG did all this boss rebalancing etc etc...Idk if that's extended to Aul or not. I think it's fine, but as always with AGs use them at your own risk.

I've briefly considered it. But using Shavs would just be simpler.
im a bit frustrated cause i cant sustain the channeling. i run directly out of mana even with arcane surge and 20% dmg modifier to mana :(
someone got an idea?
I can sustain it with just 15% damage taken to mana and some regen from tree (Arcane Will).
This might be a dumb question as you have an empty socket in your chest and theoretically this is where the gem is supposed to be...but you ARE running Clarity to make use of the mod right??? I didn't see it in any of your links. ^^

Any ideas what to upgrade in regards to damage?
Guess I have to fiddle in pob with a CWC staff.
Auls w/ zealotry already?
Budget 30ex+
Aaaaaand here we go!
-Aul's for Zealotry! yep, good DPS boost just make sure resists are covered.
-Chest with Spell Crit. Offering Effect is great (especially since I don't see any extra ES recovery) but not as essential without the Leash. Get both if you can! You can even roll an extra curse on the same base for MOAR DEEPS! How cool is that?!
-Bottled Faith is like..20-30% more damage in a bottle. 8ex or so.
-CWC Staff will look more and more appealing as the rest of this gets stronger.
-Corrupted gloves with Spell Crit, Frenzy Charge, or Ele Weakness Curse.
-Awakened Controlled Destruction and Ele Focus Supports! May as well start in on those now.
-Jewels with Crit Multi + Life. Crit multi is obviously amazing for damage. get more sockets and GG jewels.
So many places to go!
thx very much. so, got some new toys:
what do you think about this:
crafting 17-20% dmg on this belt
and then slam a hunters exalted orb for one of these:
#% increased maximum Life
#% chance for Flasks you use to not consume Charges
Gain a Flask Charge when you deal a Critical Strike
as you mentioned i skipped any source of additional ES recovery, because i already feel quite tanky. currently lvl 97, and thats for the first time! awakener on lvl 8 is absolutely ok. im res capped (chaos too) though
Is it possible to make this build viable without Doedre's Malevolence gloves? I'm playing ssf and just got Scold's Bridle from Einhar. Always wanted to make a build with that item, and this build looks awesome. I'm just not sure how much cyclone mana cost do I need to make it viable. I can use Fevered Mind jewels to increase it a bit, but not sure if it will be enough.

Thankfully you should be able to farm the prophecy fairly easily (easy as far as things go in SSF). But yeah you'd need a LOT of fevered mind jewels to make it work with cyclone.
The other option is to try the self cast variant of old. Some info on that in my second post on Page 1. (Relic of the past) You can also look into my older videos etc...
It's not as mobile or as smooth as cyclone CWC, but has a lot more damage output while standing still and gear-wise, is easier to put together in SSF.
