[3.14] Gannicus, God of the Arena – Deathless Uber Elder for Everyone

Did you buy your swords or did you alt spam them? And if you did alt spam, which mods did you aim for before trying to regal it? For now I had been trying to alt spam for block+good extra physical damage% or block and +X flat physical damage.

I bought the swords and corrupted them for more damage. If you alt spam them then those are the mods you should be looking for.

Oooh, I see. Guess I am facing one of the cons of the build not being too common, as I didn't see a single axe with decent mods quite yet. Like, either it had the block or the damage but not both at the same time. Probably because people usually go for elder weapons, or at least seems like it.

Gonna at least try to use Tiny's trial as according to CoE the odds are higher to get two or three desired mods using chaos orbs.

I have some questions since i didnt get to experiment much with this build this league as opposed to last, still discovering new things.


Why Astral plate? Costs me more exalts for this armor.

Cluster jewel - I thought this one was pretty nice, Idk where id come up with the talent points for it though :(

First of all I'm not using an Astral any more. But isn't the advantage obvious? 36 elemental res...

The ring and amu are good. Nothing extraordinary though. As for the jewel, I wouldn't bother using it. Those nodes are ok but not worth the hassle of rebalancing the tree. If it was Mage bane, Deep cuts, Devastator or something like that then yes but not those.

Is this build SSF Viable as a League Starter? I might use it for 3.11

gotta say, dont like it, tried, you need a high HIGH phys dmg swords wich cost a lot to craft or buy, you will need the watcher eye win double impale otherwise damage is low, too bad for my last build try in this league, at least i know i wont play it next one (=

Good effort to make this build but its really expensive for the outcome damage and surv.

I wouldn't recommend it for SSF. You can still do it without the swords and the -mana armour and all that but it won't be as good.

Double Impale watcher's... LOL !
I did an entire league without that. Killed EVERYTHING. Deathless Uber Elder was a joke. Deathless even WITHOUT FLASKS. And you say damage is low. LOL again !
And you don't like the survivability? Noob with max char 92 and the others low 80s. Maybe learn how to play?

Updated the guide for 3.11. No major changes. Slight nerf to damage (5%) but slightly better Impale.

I've also added the section "Details About Block" with all the possible sources of block chance if you can't get good block swords.
