As said before, i wonder if gladiator's perseverance isn't a better choice instead of razor's edge (i don't understand the reasons to prefer one to another).

Also, is the -mana cost mandatory on the chest to play pride ? With only a lvl 3 enlighten and no -mana cost chest, i can't put Flesh and stone + blood and sand + precision + pride...
Otherwise, what should i take instead of Pride ? (i don't have a lot of playtime or a lot of money to get to this kind of chest)


And finally, any update about clusters ? i feel like this is an amazing feature but i'm not good enough to figure out how to use it.

Yes Gladiator's is better and I've already updated the PoB.

You can't really run pride without the -15 on the chest. I have 42 mana unreserved which is way too low without that. I suppose you can try with two -9 rings but I don't think it'll work well. If you can't use Pride then use Herald of Purity. Check the gem section, it's explained well.

Cluster jewels have so many choices that it's difficult to suggest something specific. I'll make a list of very good nodes that you can use to craft something. But what you remove from the tree depends entirely on what you have chosen to craft.

Guys, how this build is doing against the new content? Simulacrums, etc?

I wanted to know 1 more thing (maybe you answered it before, if so, i'm sorry).

You show 3 corrupted amulets. Would it be worth to put a non corrupted amulet and some oils on them to get another tree node ? if so, witch amulet and node would you advise ?

I already say in the guide (amulet section) what stats to look for. Also I have a section about anointing that suggests what nodes to get. I'd suggest reading the guide more carefully because it seems you've missed some things. Everything you've asked is already in the guide.

Supporting Riposte with Melee Physical Damage and Brutality adds a lot of damage to the counter attack which is not conditional like the others. It can be considered as an extra damage option to the build.

I started this build knowing I was going to hate it (i don't like melee builds)

When i started dying sooner than expected turns out it was just the duel wield bug. After dealing with that and getting a few key pieces I've facetanked more content than I have in the previous 4 leagues combined.

Its hilarious how much dank memery you can get away with since the build is pretty tight.

For starters, i wanted to move off the anvil so I got a pretty crap rolled carnage heart



Filled out my need to int and res, which was good but got me thinking, how do i keep the leech bonus? So i went one step further and got Soul Tether:



Obviously this is a gimmick that probably won't make it to red maps, but the fact that I can get a way with is funny to me.

I decided to drop a little block chance for more damage via Ahn's Might, the area and crit greatly helps with clear.

To answer the cluster jewel question, I've tried a few but the main point of it is you should fill out what's missing in your build, at first i filled with crit which was a good DPS boost:



But since im doing a janky leech build i changed into a dual wield jewel. Still trying to craft a dealy repartee + feed the fury which should be pretty fun

Supporting riposte was my first thought. But it has a 0,8 sec cooldown which makes it a pretty insignificant damage source with roughly 1 hit/sec. It's much more useful to have it automatically use some skill. Culling strike is a very good example. Onslaught is good too.
If you don't like it you'd get much more damage by just using a 4L (vaal) ancestral warchief.

@Rijndael, glad you're enjoying the build. Yeah sometimes it's ridiculous how tanky it can be. Experimenting with stuff is half the fun in this game even if the result isn't always optimal.

Thank you for the build. I am planning to play this build. I always play with elemental or a Molten Strike build but I think it's time to give a chance to a Melee build. The only question I have is that it is very difficult to find any swords on poe.trade. Is there any other alternatives for finding the swords?
