Looking for some advice with my character
POB here: https://pastebin.com/6rdxmdq0 I attempted to do Sirus at awakening 0 yesterday and failed miserably. The dps was really low. I don't seem to have much trouble with the guardians that led up to Sirus so I thought I'd be OK but it didn't work out. Also, I found out it is possible to craft block chance on your armor! You can see this in the POB. so that's 7% block chance. I think that means that one of your rare swords can be missing block chance for all DPS, especially if you grab the gemini anointment for a little bit more block chance. | |

Messing around in PoB, i wonder if instead of annointing Blade of Cunning, annoint Whispers of Doom to support dual curses. Get an assassins mark on hit ring to generate power charges. Seems to give better damage to have power charge over that passive. Could still get that little tree via passives if you get into the mid/high 90s. Though you would need to drop most jewel slots to do that.

I wonder why I never noticed it before. Yes, of course, if you get that then you can use one block and one normal sword which is pretty useful. It's also a prefix which makes it even more useful. I've added it to the gear section with credit. Thanks. I'm afraid I can't help you with Sirus. I've read that he does a ton of chaos damage though so getting chaos res might help. " Assassin's mark would give you increased damage due to the increase crit it provides. PC generation though only works on-kill. That's why I don't recommend it. You'd easily get 3 charges while clearing but you'd have 0 charges in boss fights where you actually need them. Also getting a CoH ring is very expensive if you want other damage/rife/res stats on it. Since this build is primarily made as a boss killer it's not ideal but you can try it and see if it works for you. So I just started this the other day and it is really fun so far. As everyone else has said block swords are rare this league so I am using Rigwald and Scaeva as placeholders for now. Also experimenting with this ammy as a temporary solution to be able to use pride earlier. Thanks for the guide its great.

" If you want to go for Impale you'll keep Brutality. You'll either substitute rage or fortify. Fortify gives you the least amount of damage but it's a great defensive option so I'd probably choose rage. You'd also need Dread banner which would reduce your damage overall. According to the forked version of PoB Rage and Impale would give you the same DPS at max stages/impales. If you use a watcher's eye with +2 Impales then Impale would give you more damage. Not sure if that got answered already bug why no Iron Reflexes? It gives 7% phys damage reduction in your PoB alone and it only costs 1 point.
