I will say this is not a high damage build. It's decent, but is hard to get it high where I find end game bosses start to feel smooth. The tankyness is great, but the longer a boss is alive, the more dmg you're likely to take. On the flip side, playing lowlife vortex this league, I found myself dieing to situations this character wouldn't, due to the fact of just not having enough defenses. But the dps was insane.

Both characters i have yet to beat maven without basically using all portals, very much a ME problem lol.

You should definitely replace that quicksilver with a bottled faith. It's useless anyway since leap slam is so much faster. And bottled faith will give you around 25% more damage. It's like using a 7L. Not very useful for clearing but amazing against bosses especially in small areas like Maven.

3. Instead Immortal call (guard skills)
SteelSkin (additional def from any damage)
or MoltenShell(additional def only from Phys damage)

4. etc
Blood Rage (some additional dps)
Phase run (low impact, i use it for no regen map instead blood rage or delving)

5. You can easy drop increased duration (if don't use immortal call)

Finally added a Sirus A9 deathless run. It only took me around 20 days to do the maps... Maybe I should stop adding Zana, it really slows down progress. I wish those maps counted towards Maven though.
Guess now I should focus on completing uncharted realms.

Yeah i had not looked at the price of it recently, though at this point I mostly stopped for the league, may give some more run at bosses here and there.

Has anyone done a build like this in SSF? On the one hand, I want to play a build I can invest into, but crit melee in SSF is an uphill battle. Would it make more sense to go sword and shield to cut down on the cost of crafting weapons, or do we just lose too much DPS that way?

I haven't played SSF but in general I consider any build that doesn't require specific uniques as SSF viable. Especially since it doesn't need hard to get crafts like "trigger socketed spells".

I'd think the hardest thing to craft would be the -15 mana armour but you can play without it (just don't use pride). Why would crafting a shield be easier than crafting a sword? You'd definitely lose damage that way but you'd gain permanent block. If you plan to play HCSSF that might be useful , otherwise probably not and definitely not worth all the damage you'd lose.

Well for one thing you're using a 300pdps sword. That's crap. I know block swords are hard to find so you can do the usual trick (that I've written about 789347988 times) and craft block on your armour and get a good sword.
You'll lose that life but... damage has to come from somewhere, you can't have everything (especially if you don't have the money for it).

Your flasks make no sense. A mana flask? eh... what ? And then a quicksilver? Why do you have leap slam then? Seriously a diamond flask is a ton of damage for 1 alch. Craft of the order on it too.

That's some cheap damage right there. Beyond that you need to get some money.
