yes as it adds a ton of dps, you can easily drop flesh offering for bone offering and so on. The argument is that for the dps you gain from the mace, you can easily change damage to other things. I.e. rotting legion, flesh and stone defensively, bone offering and so on. Your dps will be super no matter what ^^

grave intentions added chaos should be added before the convertion if i am not mistaken, so phys + chaos -> phys converted -> chaos + chaos

I changed my Spectre setup to 2xCarnage Chieftain, 1xHost Chieftain and 1xDiabolist. And man, that Diabolist is spamming Enfeeble all over the screen like its his favorite thing ever. And the effect is actually insane, I get hit A LOT less and when I get hit it hurts a lot less too. So I would definitely recommend getting a Diabolist as the 4th Spectre.

Did I miss it in the opening post? Or did OP not talk at all about what curse he uses?


i dropped diablolist as i felt he kept lacking behind. I run despair aura right now (trying to do new shenanigans with full chaos convertion, thats why i haven't looked too much into it.) You can easily run vulnerability on AG and enfeeble on diablolist if you like it :D

i'd keep going for 1000 str. Haven't looked too much into elemental damage stacking, however flamability would be nice. Also pride doesn't work when running elemental or chaos :(

i dont checked in pob, but...

void manipulation got 39% more chaos (ofc its after conversion, but maybe better dmg option)

withering touch more 29%, but 25% chance to inflict withered... and its can stack... (PROBLABLY better option)

I just forgot 'maim and fortify' are mods in item... not a gem!


but some boys still using fortify like a gem... maybe 'next phase' are use one of this gems I suggest and got a kingmaker in AG.

If someone can does the pob math pls...

Well not really.

The +1 to all gems only really matters for the Empower and the Zombie skill gem. +1 on the other supports it like 1% DPS increase per support gem.

The +1 for Empower and Zombie is +2 levels which is what +2 spells does. The Mace can get Maim while the Eldar Staff can get Fortify (although rare). They both can get the same enchants.

The Mace gets +1 on the other Zombie Supports. The Staff gets +2 levels on Spectres, Skeletons, Golems, Guardian, Offerings and all Auras. Which honestly a lot better.

The Fortify/+2 Staff is very hard to get but I would argue the +2 staff on its own may well match the Mace if you use both Skeletons and Zombies.


I did the math on a staff the other day. +2 spells + fortify is alot less dps. unless i did some seriously scuffed calculations.

Yes after getting the anoinment you despec the 6 points for death attunement. Grats on the neck its a sweet pick up! You can either spec into some of the juicy nodes i picked up on the tree in general to whatever fits your current needs, or get the full scion life wheel for lots of life :D
