Thank you for pointing it out, a guy on my stream also pointed it out that i can travel through deep wisdom ^^ guys like you only make the build better, as i have too much going on to spot every detail. I'll be changing it before i head to bed :D


I'd say the best choice for anointment is grave intentions. You save 6 points compared to the 7 points you save if you choose ravenous horde (and get grave intentions through deep wisdom) but the small nodes leading to ravenous horde are actually useful whereas the two nodes before grave intentions are pretty much useless. So with grave intentions anointed you get 18% move, 18% damage, 5% attack speed from RH. Pretty nice and certainly a lot better than what you take from GI.


the reason we don't annoint grave intentions is that we need the resists from the smaller nodes aswell. If we don't pick them up we will need to pick them up at indomitable army, which defeats the whole purpose of it :(
If we don't pick any of them up our summons will die, as they will take 16% increased damage, and were already cutting the resists low as it is.

your mace will do for sure, i'd go for multimod - support gems - whatever you can fit of minion stats - strength on it. the +2 support gems basicly makes 50% of the weapon, as it buffs the empower by 2 and the other support gems by 2, making the empower buff them with 2 on top of that.

When you say 'slam for +1 socketed gems', do you mean to regal it up from a blue quality in the hopes that you get that affix?

I'm at the point now currency wise where I can start this endeavor and am hoping for a bit of guidance to avoid wasting too much currency.


Alteration spam is the way to go atm. And just to answer your question, we want to roll maim then make it rare and then slam so our annul is 50/50 at the start, and maim is quite easy to roll. I should have specified that at the time >.<

desecrate gem level doesn't matter anymore, since the spectre summoned now depends on the spectre skill gem rather than the corpse used. ^^

Yeah a few pages back I was talking about this but no one seemed to care or notice. Dancing Duo is insane with the build and I think the chaos route could be really good too.

As far as Arakali's / Soulwrest / DD comparison. I like DD for the wither stacking. They attack like 20 times a second (multistrike) so on bosses withered will be maxed out all the time. Giving you a lot more damage especially when you are converting phys to chaos with the gloves. Also with Soulwrest you need to deal with corpses which slows you down. The goal is zoom zoom.


If you were the person who posted the T10 map clear video with DD, then yeah you were the inspiration for wanting to try DD. Thank you for posting it!

The only thing I don't like about DD playstyle is that I can't really stop to loot much. I had to change my loot filter to strict to keep everything moving and to keep the DD uptime. Also it feels a little unreliable for bosses without a couple Writhing Jars, but I guess I could probably keep a Femur on the weapon swap if need be.

I've never tried builds with Soulwrest or Arakaali's Fang but I can't imagine Phantasms from Soulwrest clear with anywhere close to the speed that Dancing Duos do. The spiders seem really interesting and I like that you don't need to constantly stop to resummon them. Would they be maintainable on boss fights?



Spiders are immune to dmg (in wiki).

If you slam with cannot roll attack mods is it only +1 that it can roll and nothing else? Cause this alone is 1ex for the cannot roll + 1ex for the slam.

Right but you need to kill something to summon 1 of them. They only last 30 seconds. Writhing Jar can only maintain a small handful of them in extended boss fights.

I am glad you're enjoying yourself :D

Yes it is quite expensive doing it that way, and no it doesn't guarantee it to hit +1, thats why alterations are better. Especially with these ~15:1 ratios :D
