[3.11]QUEEN OF NECROMANCY - STRONGEST ZOMBIES EVER? 55M+ DPS 7K+ LIFE MAX BLOCK 90% CHAOS RES
" Thanks. Is there some other build you would recommend seeing as I'm just starting my necro?
" "I have to agree. The build style is super strong, but the guide poorly done. The original guide was written at the very end of last league with very little consideration on how to go from “starter” to “20+ exalt end game.” As 3.8 was announced, the guide was added to, but very little was changed, resulting in confusion on what to do. Qlida knew he wanted to go chaos, so most the relevant changes everyone should do (i.e. Skitterbots) got thrown into the chaos conversion. People still ask about 3 golems when the common consensus about 1 week in was Carrion provides little benefit to this build. Almost no one who posts on this thread regularly follows the guide, including Qlida himself in many cases (or if he does it’s because the guide is added to in order to suite his current gear). I’ll try to list most of the end game “options” worth looking into. Almost everything is viable in every variant of the build. Body Amour - Saqawal’s Nest - Geofri’s Sanctuary - Crafted rare Gloves - Shaper’s Touch (with or without Geofri’s) - 4W Triad Grip - Other Triad Grip (sub par to physical imo) - Crafted rare Weapon - Crafted mace - Crafted staff - Various uniques (all sub-par to Crafted) - 2 wands or wand + shield (less damage but different craft options) Main Skills - Zombie only - Zombie + 5-6L Skellies in chest (skellies require you to sacrifice utility at your discretion) Mobility - Leap Slam + Faster Attacks + Fortify - Phase Run + Increased Duration (optional) + Flame Dash Golems - Chaos Golem - Optional Stone Golem - Not recommended Carrion Golem Auras/Buffs - Pride (physical only, small aura range) or Vaal Haste (either) - War Banner (physical only) - Skitterbots - Aspect of the Avian - optional 35% aura (chaos only, requires heavy investment) Guard Skill - Vaal Molten Shell - Bone Armour (free with Ascendency) Ascendencies - Mindless Aggression - Unnatural Strength - Bone Barrier - Commander of Darkness or Mistress of Sacrifice Zombie Gems - Feeding Frenzy + Minion Damage (either both socketed or swap) - Ruthless or Brutality (physical only) Passive Tree - Too many variables to post “options” There are others, but nothing common is coming to mind, and I’m not going to nitpick. Strength benchmarks are 1000, 1200, and 1500. Last edited by Aldonés#1294 on Oct 3, 2019, 1:58:38 PM

Anyone care to have a look at my tree and see if I can do anything to optimize it haha. Currently at 1500 str as I just rolled a decent 15% str lethal pride jewel. I feel like I'm all over the place in the tree though. Also what would be a good final flask? Currently using a diamond flask but I feel like thats useless? Lol. Running chaos conversion build.

God damn my head is starting to hurt.
All I wanna know now is do I use golems or not? The 3.8 path of building link im looking at has nodes taken for them and a jewel for them but no golem skills.
" Another weapon to consider for crafting is a bow. You can't roll the maim support, but you'll be able to equip a quiver for either more life/stats or 3 more gems (expensive Maloney's); plus bows are the way to go if you want movement speed. I'm currently running a cold variant of this skill mainly to hunt fossils while delving. I've built it for speed and as much health as I can - but DPS is very good as well. Freeze is very strong in delve - no more worries about cold snap spikes - and speed/phasing makes hunting fossils fun and easy. Last edited by hankinsohl#1231 on Oct 3, 2019, 2:18:43 PM

" I can't seem to find the zombie/skelly build 190+.
I would add Discipline as alternative to Skitterbots on Auras. Bit over 1k extra ES with Shaper's Touch.
" Mecielle has/had a pretty good build. Last edited by Laxxus#3863 on Oct 3, 2019, 2:50:16 PM

Fair enough, below are the changes to the list if changes recommended.
I’ll try to list most of the end game “options” worth looking into. Almost everything is viable in every variant of the build. All unique gear except The Baron can be replaced with a well crafted rare. Body Amour - Saqawal’s Nest - Geofri’s Sanctuary - Crafted rare Gloves - Shaper’s Touch (with or without Geofri’s) - 4W, 4G, or 3G1R Triad Grip - Crafted rare Weapon - Crafted mace - Crafted staff - Crafted bow + quiver - Various uniques (all sub-par to Crafted) - 2 wands or wand + shield (less damage but different craft options) Belt - Crafted Rare - Soul Tether Main Skills - Zombie only - Zombie + 5-6L Skellies in chest (skellies require you to sacrifice utility at your discretion) Mobility - Leap Slam + Faster Attacks + Fortify - Phase Run + Increased Duration (optional) + Flame Dash Golems - Chaos Golem - Optional Stone Golem - Not recommended Carrion Golem Auras/Buffs - Pride (physical only, small aura range) or Vaal Haste (either) - War Banner (physical only) - Skitterbots or Discipline or other 35% aura - Aspect of the Avian - optional additional 35% aura (chaos only, requires heavy investment) Guard Skill - Vaal Molten Shell - Bone Armour (free with Ascendency) Ascendencies - Mindless Aggression - Unnatural Strength - Bone Barrier - Commander of Darkness or Mistress of Sacrifice Zombie Gems - Feeding Frenzy + Minion Damage (either both socketed or swap) - Ruthless or Brutality (physical only) Passive Tree - Too many variables to post “options” There are others, but nothing common is coming to mind, and I’m not going to nitpick. Strength benchmarks are 1000, 1200, and 1500.[/quote] Last edited by Aldonés#1294 on Oct 3, 2019, 3:48:20 PM

"Take a look at your current build and see how you want to optimize it. Blindly following another’s build is good if you have little game knowledge, but eventually you want to learn the “why” and “how” things synergize. I’m not running skellies and can’t help out much there. Do you find yourself never casting guard skills and dying to damage spikes? Link guard to CWDT. Do you want quick, fast offerings? Run Cyclone + CWC + Desecrate + Flesh/Spirit Offering Do you want more life? More damage? Pick it up on the tree. Need skeletons to have a longer duration? Pick up Enduring Bond. Get a really good or rare drop and want to use it? Do it! Let’s look at it this way. Qlida recommends running Purity of Elements with a Watcher’s Eye converting physical damage from hits to elemental damage. From hits means armour will apply in 100% of situations. Armour mitigation is relative to the amount of damage per hit. Generally speaking, with flasks up I have 90% physical mitigation and 76% elemental mitigation...damage received conversion hurts me unless my flasks are down. However, since armour is less effective against a Shaper Slam for instance, it might help save me if I chose to tank it. |

So I've been running the normal Zombie + Golem build for some time now and it's great
But now I have a fuckload of money and I can't decide between the EHP Non-chaos version or the balls to the wall DPS pure chaos conversion Saqawal's Nest version. I've killed Uber Elder without either version with pretty much no problem so I imagine the EHP is the best 'well rounded' version? Or maybe I can do both and use just Geoffri's with 4W Triad instead of Shaper's Touch? I also got +1 first try on my Warpaths, so I would love to use those Anyone who has tried multiple versions able to give advice? Also, a dumb question, when divining Lethal Pride, we want 15% across ANY notable and not just the ones we pick normally? For instance, I have 15% on Divine Fury + Light of Divinity + Divine Fervour, do I instead need it on something like Righteous Army + Devotion + Redemption in order to not waste points?
