The popularity of this build is beyond me xD.
Since there was a talk about Geofri's Sanctuary couple days back, the 6-linked version has now reached 4ex on the market. Currently you can buy 400 fuses for 1ex, so 4ex is 1600 fuses, bench recipe for 6-link is 1500 fuses and Geofri's chest without any links is 2-3c.
In general, for newer players, don't buy a 6-link for more than 1500 fuses than the non-linked version, even if you don't have the recipe (however there are a lot of guys on global offering access to their mine for free to get it), you can always ask someone who has it to bench it for you. And in general it is worth trying 6-linking yourself with just large quality and fuses one by one.
Saqawal's Nest is 1.5 ex non linked, 5ex linked so it still makes sense.
I maintain, GS is a bad choice for the endgame chest. At absolute most it can help as a stop gap if the rest of the gear sucks and you have no other way to get some more defense.
If the rest of the gear is good, it is no problem to reach 11k EHP without GS. So it is useless in endgame, to the point where it takes away a huge amount of damage and clear speed for giving EHP that will never be needed.
The only reason I can see it being a good choice is for delves of 900+. And then you absolutely need to also have Soul Tether as your belt, else the ES will just be worthless as recharge is constantly interrupted and you need the leech to go the ES too. And using Soul Tether will remove like 200 strength, making both Shapers Touch and GS much worse.
GS is in fact an excellent chest as has been previously documented.
While possible to exceed 10K effective life without the chest, it's not trivial to do so.
Moreover the damage of this build is such that quite honestly I'm breezing through all content without Nest and really don't see any need to change gear.
Where we do agree (I'm guessing) is that once you can reach about 10K effective health, further EH is at a point of diminishing return so you might as well increase DPS.
If you purchase GS as a 10K EH-enabler and you later upgrade your gear to the point where you're above 10K EH with Nest equipped, you can sell GS, likely at a profit given how popular summoners are this league.
As you take every opportunity to restate your same argument against GS over and over ad nauseam without adding any new insight, I find it pointless to continue this discussion beyond this, my last remark on the topic - as I'm just repeating myself too.

Ad nauseum? I bet you can't find 5 comments I made about it in the last 20 pages.
See no reason to change from a shitty Belly to Nest? How about Nest enabling you to "breeze through all the content" ~30% faster?
And 10k EHP is VERY trivial to reach without GS. I am at 12k without it, now that is a bit harder. And I also said that it is not only damage you lose. You can't run the same amount of auras, probably losing Haste or Skitterbots, one insane for clear speed, the other great for defense. And of course losing a Zombie because you will drop below 1500 str. It just adds up to too much sacrifice for a measly 1200 ES gain you can't even leech back without also dropping the belt for Soul Tether, which would cost you another Zombie. So the 1200 ES gain is worth around the same as 300 life.
ES without leech is just one-shot protection, and useless against the constant small hits you get while delving or mapping. And 10k EHP puts you firmly outside the range of any non-telegraphed oneshots.
Anyways, we can agree on the argument getting old. As is this whole thread lol. Been helping people for the last 130 pages here, but lately the questions and "ideas" popping up are getting just ridiculous. So I will probably tap out here.

Anyone have an idea how all of my minions could just go pop and die instantly? They can tank shaper beam, minotaur, phoenix jump, EVERYTHING normally. I'm using Triad Grips so they're doing 100% chaos damage. I was just sitting there doing a blight in a T16 and then all of a sudden poof they're all gone. Including my Animate Guardian with 2ex in gear on him. And yes I checked he's dead.
I'm f'in livid. Someone please tell me what mod causes this. Nemesis was the only relevant mod on the map. Does physical thorns not work the way it would appear to? I have no idea what caused it.
Aspect of the Avian is actually giving 40% chance for double damage to minions. So its 40% double damage for 4 sec and then 20% for 4 sec.
0.5*(0.4*2+0.6*1)+0.5*(0.2*2+0.8*1)=1.3 multiplier and decent speed buff

I see what you're saying (Aspect of the Avian already grants it to you and your minions and because your minions are also allies they could get "double buffed" by Saqawal's Nest) but that would be counter to how all other buffs work in PoE. Otherwise everyone in hardcore would just run parties of 6 invincible aurabots together with stacked disciplines.
If it's some special interaction from bestiary that doesn't follow the rules of PoE then just ignore my comment.
