Chaos conversion setup

Looks like a hell of a lot more dps, even though its not really needed. Pretty neat though.

Edit: A lot more damage if everything is just right. Shocked/wither stacks etc.

It takes about 5 wither stacks to be stronger, skitter bots have agressive AI, so they're pretty much around all the time they're needed.

check out the chaos conversion spoiler at the bottom of the guide ^^

Ah ok, so you are not using it as a damage boost, but as a clear speed boost. Thats makes a bit more sense. Because the damage of the phys version is already insta phasing Uber Elder, so no need for more of that.

i agree. It was super hard to see any difference on the clears of any high end content other than blight bosses. And yeah the clear is just stupid now, so is both your own leap slams / movement speed. Same with our zombies tbh. And it is a dps increase using spirit offering ^^

I gotta admit, I have not cast one Offering spell since I was level 70. I am 96.5 now and have done uncountable numbers of T16 Guardian maps and Uber Elders.

But yea, maybe I will try the chaos setup some time. For now I started another build, got a bit tired of the passive nature of minion builds, but will keep this one and not sell the gear for now. Will wait and see how I like an autobomber that wrecks Elder Toxic Sewers in 25 seconds :D

Thanks again for the thread, OP. And I will try to stay active here to give some advice when needed.

Been seeing you fight with both claws and beak in here aswell. I am the one thanking you for keeping the guide alive while i was busy answering questions on stream ^^ I do get where you come from, i usually make a character that selfcasts or attacks after reaching stupid levels of minions.

I also used offerings back when they were like 2-3 seconds, so if i don't spam them i feel like i am doing nothing with my life :'D

Hi mate, thanks lots for the guide! Well written and all!

I played necro once, in Betrayal, and it was a pure skele build, without zombies, with Victario Charity, Hatred, Grip of the Council and Ele Equilibrium shenaningans. It was very strong but I wanted something different. I was split between doing some zombie action with Baron or going skele mages! I like skeles to much to give them up. I went the skele mages route and I don't really know, the clearing is good, but boss damage is bad even after swapping some gems, so I use Tukohama Vanguards for bosses but that means I can't have buffing spectres. I also have zombies just for fun and defense, with meat shield so they taunt, but I am running out of links at this point. Also, the problem is I don't really know what to do next with them, and how to improve the build further. I mean, it's far from optimal, but things like getting a busted helmet for spectres or a 6 link femurs (I have 5link atm) can only get me so far. Also I went MoM but I am missing having auras :P

Anyway, I will try to think of a way of making that work and if I give up, I will switch to this. It looks like a very solid build that can be continuously improved and worked on, with strength stacking and all, I know what to do here. Also, I didn't want to repeat the previous build but this would be different enough so I am happy.

One question so it isn't purely a rant. Do you use a carrion golem for the buff at all in the skele version? Or do you let the golems go completely? The buff seems nice.
Shaper kill using no mana, no skills, no flasks... nothing.

Just runnn with some zombies :)

Zombies are crazy man
Does your animate guardian keep the stuff when you upgrade your level 20 gem to 20% level 1?

I never tried it. But it should. No matter what else you do with the gem, vaal it, drop it, put it into your stash for a few months, it keeps the gear. So my guess is that is keeps it. As far as I know, only dying makes it lose the gear.

I would guess the exact opposite. I doubt you're getting the same gem back -- I'm willing to bet its a brand new gem, so it wouldn't keep your gear.
