Considering you are just level 69 with level 16 ED and with lots of stuff missing still you'll soon notice a big increase in DPS. :)

Good news indeed, congrats! I think body armour will be next step actually, but you can gather some currency before you do as it provides you a lot of life right now

You think i should change my body armor? I thought it was quite decent with 1830 evasion rating and a good chunk of life

Hey there, just found some time to look into your PoB. Right now you're sitting at about 440k Shaper DPS on your ED. While that isn't bad at all, we of course want to max out the DPS so you have a smooth experience with higher tier bosses.

Check out the difference in damage with a crafted bow:



Quite significant, right? Damage climbs up to 600k on ED. If you get a 21^20 ED and level the Empower to 3 it'll jump to 750k, which is almost double your current DPS. It really is all in the gem levels. It'll also free up some nodes on the passive tree since you don't need the shield nodes anymore, pushing you to about 6k life and giving you another 2 jewel sockets.

By SSF-viable I mean that you don't need any specific uniques that you have to be lucky to find. Everything can be crafted with enough time. :)

woah I did not expect that with having +2 from wand+shield so didn't even check how much bow differs o.O Yeah that will be my next priority

I already went through 600 alts for +1 and +DoT, so I wanted to check on PoB how it'll be with just +1 and crafts, it's a lot less.
So I crafted in PoB the same bow u show in screenshot and it's not nearly that dps, almost no difference between wand+shield and the bow.

Did you do something else to get that number?

Hello i plan to play your build (gonna start it tomorrow), i've played ED/contagion last 3 leagues, but never with a bow + quiver.
So, just a question, for levelling, from when you start to use a bow ? I've "classic stuff" for levelling (tabula / goldrim / lifespring / wanderlust).
And another question, since we use a bow + armor, can we use 2x6L ? One for ED, and one for contagion ?

You do not require a 6-link during leveling. A 5-link body armour will suffice until you get an Empower gem to level 2 / 3 / 4. You should prioritize farming Porcupine cards in maps (Gardens, Plaza, Terrace) and grind through some prophecies for the multimod craft from Pale Court. After that you can craft the bow I describe in one of the sections and transition from wand + shield to wielding the bow.

Contagion is a pure utility spell. The only good properties for it are AoE and Duration, so we can keep it on a 3-link with IncAoE and Intensify and use the free slots for other useful stuff instead.

Heya and welcome! :-)

Your character has about 520k Shaper DPS on ED right now. This will grow to 650k with ED reaching level 20 and Empower reaching level 3, 730k with Empower 4. That's already really good!

If there's one thing I suggest taking a deeper look into, it'd be your rare jewels. None of them have %max life on them. If you had life on all of them that alone would push you from 5.1k life to 5.5k.

In terms of passive tree I'd spec 4 nodes out of Blood Drinker + Dexterity and get Constitution instead. You'll be closer to more life nodes on every level up and become more tanky.

Some of your items seem to have come from an attack character as there's a couple EDWA mods crafted on them. There certainly will be better mods to put instead, so that can be adjusted as well.

Unfortunately I cannot see what effect your Glorious Vanity has, but it's cool to see you got one! They do come rare this league. :-)
