[3.21] Vatinas' Spiders + HoP Guardian - CI, 70K armour, 1400 ES on block, millions of DPS

Any extraordinary items which can boost our def or dps? M'm not asking bout items from guide.

Can anyone take a look at my build and tell me where I went wrong? Spent the last few hours in pob testing out different items trying to juggle resists/mana.

I saw in the pob that 4 auras were enabled but I can barely fit 3. Saw that even with 40% reservation on CoG, it wouldn't be close enough to activate all 4

Can't figure out how to cap resists when equipping a shaper's touch too, i'll always be around 50%. Trying to compare between my pob and vatina's but can't figure it out. Just tried a band-aid solution getting rare gloves.

Don't really play much CI builds but my energy shield seems pretty low? Even at lv 20 I only have around 4.6k es

Hey !

So to fit everything (with the Memory Vault), you need to anoint your amulet with Charisma (2 golden oil and 1 opalescent).

You really need to get your ring to 40% (at least, can be more with catalyst) mana efficiency.
Get a few more level and get res on Jewel (remember, it's better to kill slowly then to die and lose xp).

Also, very important, make sure that your Tempest Shield is lvl 20. At level 20, it will "cap" your spell block chance (Cost only 3c).

Thanks for this! Didn't know about the existence of catalysts haha. When testing it on POB, I had 1% reservation and when I actually did it in game I had exactly 0 mana left. so I divined my 2 rings



and I still didn't have enough. My character also is running brutality support in place of empower and when slotting in empower in POB I had more than enough. So my question is does empower add up into the mana reservation?

You didn't divined your rings to max reservation before catalyst. You need 48% inc mana reservation on both.

I dont think you can reserve HoP with Brutality and Memory Vault, even with Charisma and max reservation rings PoB shows -2% unreserved mana with this setup.

Loving the build so far.

I am not using 2 writing jar flask and also not using (for now atleast) Soul Ripper flask. So I have room for 4 utility flask, which one should I use and which modifier I should get on them ? Immune bleeding, movement speed and ?

Also I think using the modifier "Gain X charges when you are hit by enemy" and the enchant "Used when charged reach full" so flasks should always be UP!

Can you get the unholy might on kill bonus from the minion offense mastery when the minions kill the flask worms?

Just wanted to thank Vatinas for this excellent guide. I'm loving this build so far, and the item progression (currently saving up for the chestpiece) and min maxing seems like a reasonable goal for the rest of the league. It's tanky, easy to play, you feel like a badass with the spiders running around blowing everything up, and the auras synergize well for group play. I really appreciate that the cluster jewels in this build are actually affordable, unlike a lot of other guides I've followed. Yeah, the dagger is expensive, but the price has been dropping steadily, and I was able to grind up the currency for it in low level maps + heists.

Overall, a really well written guide. If you are looking to change anything my only suggestion would be the leveling section that calls for using zombies. I was able to farm low tier maps with zombies, but it was rough going leveling with it. You die a ton to Act bosses that don't spawn trash mobs when you don't have access to desecrate yet. I wonder if there's another leveling skill that might work better.
