Deathbeam will probably have a more detailed answer, but the only thing that divergent herald of agony does better than normal herald of agony is give you more chance to poison. If necessary, you can get that from the tree in the claw node group and the poison one to the left of it right in the ranger area. The notables for the two groups are Poisonous Fangs and Toxic Strikes. If you get the full claw node group you can get the "Monsters poisoned by you cannot deal critical strikes" which is a pretty good defensive layer too.

i'm back after testing some stuff.

Mapping
- Nimis + GMP is really fun and helps to cover a much bigger area.
- Oriath's end by itself is amazing for mapping.
- Tried oriath's end + original sin but the ring didn't help much for clearing
so not really worth it, even for blighted ravaged maps oriath alone was enough
- HH is also really cool for mapping and since in maps we get more than enough
flask charges the "flask mods" on the rare belt are not that necessary.
- While using HH for mapping we lose phasing from the abyss jewel but we can get
phasing from an "unnatural instinct" changing the skill tree a bit.
- Unnatural instinct is about 10% more dps but 10% less tanky too (we also get a
16% chance to gain phasing on kill tho).

How much is your build ( without HH, progenesis, oriath's end). I already HH and gonna build / craft gear like you, and got about 100 div left, does it enough?

i'd go for the uniques first since some are a bit expensive, for example:
- balance of terror with double despair is around 18div right now
- covenant with +1 socketed gems is 10 div but you can get an uncorrupted one for 2 div
- darkscorn with onslaught or frenzy is around 1 div but you would need to 6 socket and 6 link it, i 100% recomend tainted currency and that should be like 2 div a bit more or less
- watcher is like 1-3div
- you can get a normal anathema for some Chaos
- circle of nostalgia is hard to say could be 1 div or 20 div, just try to get one with high chaos dmg and buff effect (you can use nimis too if you have it)
- rare belt can cost like 20+div to craft but if you are only gonna map with hh then there is no need
- you can get a cheap rain of splinters for 1 div (is not that much dps difference)
- large cluster is like 7 div
- eternal struggle is a bit hard to say just try to find a nice one with exarch dominant but it can be like 1div- 20-div
- for quiver, helm, boots and gloves i spent a lot more than i needed to because i wanted some specific mods but not really needed i think with 10div each should be more than enough

So I was improving the setup a bit and also decided to pob something with Wilma's for pure ballista setup and it actually looked kinda decent so decided to replace mapping setup with pure ballista setup:


Build update:
- Replaced Mapping setup with Ballista setup. In the end this setup is still mapping setup just with different take on it with
- Replaced Silver flask with Jade flask
- Replaced Damage medium cluster with Totem medium cluster
- Adjusted tree pathing slightly to grab more evasion and supppression at start of ranger
- Thanks to previous change build is supp capped without Watchers eye so replaced suppression mod with another Phys taken as Ele mod

I’m having a really hard time with single target damage on t16 hard bosses like conquerors and Sirius or such. Any suggestions?

Well the biggest thing is probably that you aren't following the passive tree at all.

Besides that 6Ling your single target damage(siege ballista) will help a fair bit. Also getting anomalous siege ballista to quality 20% gives +2 projectiles which helps a fair bit. Additionally having a helm with "when focused gain 80-90% increased duration of ailments" improves single target a lot.

In general the starter POB will get you a fair way in maps
Again…. I am a “fair way” in maps I’m t16 maps my single target boss damage is just severely lacking. L I’ll find a pc and download -POB to look at the tree.
