[3.25] Scourge Arrow Poison Prolif Pathfinder - Fast, tanky, fun to play
Leaning towards your build as my starter this time around; the guide is very well written and I've actually never done a Ranger start before.
Any info on how this handles high-tier Blighted Maps? My assumption is Poison Prolif allows you to absolutely wreck the lines of mobs while mostly staying posted on the Fungal Growth, but having never played it before I figured I'd ask. Cheers! |

" Oh that is very interesting, so this means it is possible to upgrade to better bow than Darkscorn (even though its rly hard, still good to know that there is at least possiblity). Yea Wicked Pall was nerfed but still the extra duration is useful for us for uptime of our skills (like immortal call, mirage archer, blink arrow etc, but most importantly for immortal call). And for Surging Vitality, cant regen over 50% life so its only half as useful, so not very good anymore. " https://poe-antiquary.xyz/Ritual/Weapon/Darkscorn/355 5 chaos 2 weeks in, but very expensive at start. (btw poe-antiquary is amazing site, would highly recommend it for use cases like this) " This build is one of the best non-afk Blight farmers, so yea it does really well in high-tier Blighted Maps, poison prolif is very strong for them (as as you said, you just stand in center and spam full charge SA). New build update:
New pastebin So, thanks to Remi (author of Toxic Rain ranger guide) we discovered that Veteran's Awareness is on average really nice defensive tool as the 20% more damage taken is less scary than it sounds. Example numbers: " So I added new Transcendence tree because Veteran's Awareness fixes a lot of issues that Transcendence has. Example EHP with Transcendence: Transcendence tree is also using Molten Shell instead of Immortal Call. I also dropped Enduring Cry from the gem setup because its less effective with Petrified Blood and it just takes space (I am trying to keep the guide and gem setup as simple as possible). "Is this a similar concept like on this build? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ybd3B9pDAk0 |

" Based on the video title and pastebin looks like yea. Haven't watched the video tho. Veteran's Awareness is very underrated imo, it works really well. My builds:

Looks like we're slowly moving into LL territory hehe

" In literal sense of the word as the build lost like 1k life in my updates for this league :d But im hoping that the new defensive layers will more than make up for it My builds:

new defenses are looking good!
I was wondering if it worth trying new Bloodthirst support and maybe Coward's Legacy to get to the actual LL state. I'm not good with poe numbers but it looks strong (like a 100 flat+more+increase) Last edited by crill888#5658 on Apr 15, 2021, 8:07:58 PM

this is what we get ... (found on reddit from poedb) still a prefix, tagged |chaos|poison|attack| https://poedb.tw/us/mod.php?cn=Bow when i tested with my thicket in POB (starting with 4,6M shaper) loosing the 60/100 mod roughly took away 1.7Mil shaper and i had added a 50% generic dot multi to see what we would get , well only 500K shaper so even with T2-T1 the darkscorn is doing just a bit more damage on perfect roll Last edited by OnyxDarkMatter#5106 on Apr 16, 2021, 2:15:22 AM

" Hmm that mod is a lot worse than I expected, I was expecting aaround 80-100% dot multi, 59% is super low. Sad. " We dont benefit for pain attunement as its spells only so idk. Bloodthirst is certainly interesting but you need to stack HP with it, what is the opposite I did with the new defensive layers. My builds:
