Thanks for making this guide! My first foray into PoE and it's been a lot of fun. Don't have any real issues with content at this point but more survivability without dps loss would be great.

Yo, I am using this setup:

Forbidden Taste (with full life recovered, not just 80% or something) is pretty nice, as the chaos damage doesn't do anyhting to our build.
(Corrupted Blood Immunity is on a jewel, as you cant roll "Removes Bleeing" on this one)

Does the "doesn't do any damage to our build" hold if I'm not running the Divine Flesh version?

never tested it but I dont think it would be very convenient using Forbidden Taste without Divine Flesh.

How much you need to commit? You mean currency?
Well, prices dropped like crazy.
A darkscorn starts at around 1.5 ex and Glorious Vanity (...sacrificed in the name of Xibaqua) is only 30 chaos right now.

Then you need

- Chaos Resistance to 85%

Could be a little annoying to reach, you might have to change a couple of your rares (in my case it was kinda easy)

- Another source for Despair...

Easiest would be Embalmer with Despair corruption, which is 2ex right now.
Also, Many run Impresence Amulet and Despair as a Gem supported by Blasphemy, so it becomes an Aura. And Impresence Amulet removes Despair Mana Reservation. This would be another good option.


And yeah I think its definitely worth it.

A very kind person gave away his Scourge Arrow gear after he said he was quitting the league. I've never played Scourge Arrow build before, so I'm not sure but this must be the div flesh variant of the build, no? Also can I improve the gear in any way?

Holy shit, that chest. uuh, its really really hard to improve that gear, but you can always go for fenumus glove setup for example to boost dps. And yeah that is divine flesh variant, and quite sick one, it has everything and more.

Hello, Yes, this is the Divine Flesh Version. As you are using Darkscorn + Glorious Vanity Timeless Jewel.

When I check your character, it looks like you haven't even started yet?
So, what do you mean with improving gear? Focus on making it into the end game, use the gear that you got from that stranger (lucky you), reach some level you can work with (85+ or something, not hard) and the you will be able to tell in which areas you should improve / have to fix something.

This being said, the gear looks good, it is enough to beat all content.
You only linked one flask..if thats actually the only one you have at the moment, check out on page 1 which other ones you need.

Yeah currently leveling a ranger for that, lvl 42 atm.

The guy gave that flask but no others, I will take a look.

By improving gear, I meant do I need to recolour anything or that there's something better that can easily replace these ones.

Well, as you have taken over the gear of that guy, everything seems to be good to go. No need to recolor or something... your skills + supports are already socketed in.

And gear wise, you can always min/max, sure.
But it doesn't look you will find easy replacements, also no need for that. Your gear looks good. Just fly through some of the pages here in this thread and see what others are doing if you are not happy with your build. (Fenumus, Impresence, Double Nostalgia... etc)

How do you scale your damage per poison so high? Showing 4600% more in PoB @ lvl 80. Over 300k per poison. The little details window that pops up when you hover over it doesn't really show.
