[3.25] Scourge Arrow Poison Prolif Pathfinder - Fast, tanky, fun to play

Hi guys, should I get a cheap quiver that Bow Attacks fire an additional Arrow instead of using Drillneck?
Does this increase my damage more instead of using drillneck?
What mod should I look for ?
Can't afford the frenzy quiver in OP post.
Thanks!

Hi,

Can anyone explain why no flask of warding is being used? Cheers.

My view is that this (great!) build guide gives a rough idea of what flasks to use, but detailed flask management is quite customizable.

For example, I use a warding hallowed hybrid flask whose foreboding prefix is used to keep fortify up via hardened scars annointment:

My flasks (I use divine flesh/darkscorn with this setup):

Hybrid specifically setup for hardened scars annointment:

I also have a question: I've just barely managed to get capped chaos resistances (darkscorn/divine flesh) without using a circle of nostalgia ring that gives chaos resistance while affected by HoA.

The cost of this is fighting for chaos resistance on gear that could be better suited for e.g. chance to gain phasing etc:

Whereas the win is that I can wear two "pure damage" circle of nostalgia rings:

Q: Is this worth it or am I overestimating the value of having "increased chaos damage while affected by HoA" on both (as compared to only one) rings?

Ayy, we've done it boys. First craft. Just gotta work on doing more Jun's.

Hey, just saw your reply. Thank you!!

"Darkscorn is more for defense. It's on par with a rare bow for damage, but a perfect roll rare can be more damage"

Are you sure? Can anyone help me and tell me if they actually get more DPS out of their build with a well rolled Darkscorn? The damage calculation is the most confusing thing for me.

My Bow:

Adds 58 to 128 Chaos Damage
+80 to Accuracy Rating
Curses Enemies With Level 10 Despair On Hit
25% Chance To Poison On Hit
40% Increased Damage with Poison
+35% To Chaos Damage over Time Multiplier
60% Chance for poisons inflicted with this weapon to deal 100% more damage

Darkscorn:

145% increased Physical Damage
Adds 16 to 28 Physical Damage
20% increased Attack Speed
25% increased Global Accuracy Rating
25% of Physical Damage Converted to Chaos Damage
25% of Physical Damage from Hits taken as Chaos Damage
20% chance for Poisons inflicted with this Weapon to deal 300% more Damage

Im at work now, can't check POB. But I can remember my total Poison DPS.
With my rare bow, I ended up at around 4,4 Million DPS.
With Darkscorn added in POB, my Poison damage drops by almost a million!

Also, technically its the same, right:

60% Chance for poisons inflicted with this weapon to deal 100% more damage
and
20% chance for Poisons inflicted with this Weapon to deal 300% more Damage

In POB I replace these mods with "60% Increased Damage with poison".
How is it possible, that my Poison DPS drops this crazy?
I really want to try Darkscorn, but even the best defenses won't convince me to drop like 25% total DPS. Or am I doing something wrong with my calculation?
Everyone is saying, only the best rare bows can compete with Darkscorn DPS-wise.

Darkscorn is THE bow both for defense and offense. It's easily outperforming my near perfect rare bow:

While the rare bow has a lot of nice mods, You get a lot more from the high physical damage to chaos conversion on darkscorn. the flat chaos damage you get this way is higher than on any rare bow.

This is incorrect. Your rare bow is on pair with darkscorn offensively, yes, but it is far from perfect, because it lacks attack speed. Add attack speed to it in POB and you will see that it nets 700k more dps than darkscorn.

Keep in mind that u can put mutiple Times poison so 20% for 300% dmg is rly a lot of dmg. I looking for very good rare bow. I wanna put 'trigger Socketed spells' for even more clear speed and perma totems on boss.

Been playing this build for a little over a week now, no problem clearing T16 really fast. Problem is: big bosses, mainly t16 elder guardians one shot me all the time, I don't even bother with them I lost so much XP to them already..

I play Darkscorn divine flesh variant of the build, so from what I understand there's not much more I can do about tankiness, oh well. DPS wise I'm at 1.5M on POB with Darkscorn so it's respectable but still takes some time on certain bosses/metas

Tips on how to improve from this are welcome, good fun build overall, thanks for the guide!

Got lucky with Abberant fossils!

Just bought Darkscorn and divine flesh, I don't think I'm more tankier at all. I still get one shotted from some bosses I also lost tons of DPS. DPS lost is because my previous bow had increased poison damage, despair on hit, increased chaos damage over time. Darkscorn has none, now I have to despair monsters manually because of that I can't use blood rage so only positive thing on Darkscorn DPS wise, attack speed is not that important because I already could get attack speed from blood rage. I also lost a jewel socket, which I got tons of DPS from.

I mean if this is a glass cannon build why do we even bother with Darkscorn? Because it doesn't even help.

Have you capped your chaos resistance? I'm way tankier after I got Darkscorn and Divine Flesh.

Yeah, I have. Problem is it is almost impossible to say if you are tankier or no because of the random modifiers on maps. In the end if you still get one shotted, you are not tanky enough. Because only thing bad about dying for me is losing XP, if I'm going to lose XP anyways why bother with being tankier? I can die, respawn and kill stuff faster with my other bow.
