Even if that were true it doesn't actually work out that way in reality because I've been playing this build for nearly 2 years and they never refresh themselves with their own DoT. Relying on that as a way to keep Spiders up is not feasible, especially because your Spiders are killing monsters with their actual attack, not their DoT. The DoT only gets kills when its been stacked up to hundreds of stacks, which only happens to bosses because everything else dies way before that ever happens.

Are you seriously still denying the existance of an interaction that is in the game since beta? You claim you played a lot of spider builds in the past but you still dont know how it works? Its a well known things that dots always count as your personal kill... A shit ton of automated minion builds wouldnt work if that would not be true.

I played many spider builds in the past, playing a HoP/Spider guardian right now. You only need to summon spiders exactly once at the beginning of the map, they will resummon themself over and over again while mapping. They only need to kill one or two monsters every 30 seconds (if you do not have inc duration from somewhere) with poison to make it fully automated. They deal enough poison damage to kill one monster with it here and their, especially if you use withered touch with it.

The poison part makes sense, and also explains why they sometimes last a really long time and sometimes not at all. If only a poisonkill will refresh it that is.

But also, you are spinning most of the time to refresh ES, no? (I did HoP/Spiders in heist league and remember it as some of my strongest chars)
Some of your kills can come from a lucky last hit with cyclone.

Anyway, now I understand abit more of why they can decide to despawn in a huge aoe-fight even tho they are constantly killing, just learn to live with it I guess :D

what about t16 100% dellirium maps? Clearing speed and survivability, mods like no regen?

The damage is definitely there to clear t16 100% delirious maps but it probably won't be as fast as other minion builds that have larger AoE coverage. You can do all map mods, even no regen.

i was tried a few builds but minion AI so stupid(stone golem have totally stupid AI), seems like Spiders smartest in a world xD not sure maybe I missed some smart minions but spiders 100% very cool guys
Hi, i'm currently running a spider build that is kinda make-up, however running POB and checking the stats i'm not sure if its working well as intended, specially after comparing with yours in terms of Poison DPS, and was looking to transition into this build.

Your build is barely even a Spidermancer build, you have a bunch of golem jewels and your pathing is really bad. Just copy my build if you want to play Spiders, otherwise I can't help you with a build that isn't mine. It should be fairly easy to transition to my build, the items are cheap and you won't have to refund many points.
