Man if that Onslaught gutter claw would have been crafted with the 60% Lightning damage/% shock mod instead of the 8% dmg added as chaos I would have mirrored it in an instant! I can't think of any scenario where 8% added as chaos would come out to more than 60% increased lightning.
Still, it's an insane one of a kind claw though! Nice craft!
Thanks. You are right, although we checked the dps difference and its about 1.5% less damage in the worst situation and 0.25% less damage in the best situation. You can check your pob and tell me how much difference it gives you.

I make mirror tier items, I don't rlly play the actual game. Reddit hates me. I'm not cool.

Indeed, not a huge difference, for me, in my build with my gear it was a 2.4% less damage difference. The 10-11% extra shock chance that comes with the % lightning mod is just a small added bonus. Also a consideration is how the shocking bosses mechanics work, to where more lightning damage pushes the threshold of the amount of HP a boss can have in order to be shocked higher, whereas chaos damage does not. Again, not a massive difference, I'm just OCD I guess though and it would drive me crazy haha, so I just can't pull the trigger. The claw is insane still and worth mirroring as is for most people though.
