Yea both Hellgate and Marvel heroes were pretty solid games. Even the Korean version on steam right now is pretty solid since the P2W currency could be dropped.

Hellgate is really what Borderlands is it just didn't quite have all the technical power available at the time. If there wasn't management issues for that game we'd probably be calling Borderlands a Hellgate style shooter, like we call PoE a diablo style ARPG.

You guys are being pretty generous with MH and HG:L.

Both games were average at best. Maybe 65-70 out of 100. Certainly a far cry from what D2 was.

Again my point was people tend to look at Brevik and the Blizzard North guys as legends and heroes. It's a bit much imo...

Spoiler
case in point exilcon and PoE using Brevik as a consultant for China's launch

I would rate HG:L higher and give it at least an 80 myself. But, that's how personal preferences work. I liked it more than you did and I still like it from time to time...so what?

And in my case, this all has nothing to do with viewing anyone as a hero or a legend and fawning over him or something. It's simply knowing who he is and what he's done (the good, the bad, and the ugly) and saying to myself...hmmm, not normally my kind of game but I'll check it out just to see what he's up to (and coming away from it satisfied).

You're reading way too much into things.

Reading into to what?

All I'm really saying is that Brevik and most of the Blizzard North gang haven't done much since D2 imo. If you want to cock gobble go ahead. Obviously we have different thoughts and opinions. I was just sharing mine.

No need to get rude and go off into this "cock gobble" garbage.
