Damn... I've always kept the supporting skills with the same lvl req as cdwt :S.

Anyway do u think Immortal Call is still the better choice for cwdt with the changes?

Yeah, it is still basically 25% damage reduction for 2 seconds, so its pretty good.

Could you make this build for Low life version?

That would be like -40% eHP pool, not sure if damage worth it.

For the endgame I'd go for Coward's Legacy belt and Atziri's mirror shield to get the same 30% more dps node being CI.
Awesome build, btw.

I'm wondering what is the gem setup for using a staff?
Are you just using the same 3L+3L gems as with the 1H+Shield setup?
Do you need/want a 6L staff, and if so what gems would you run?

Yeah, for staves the setup is same. If you have CwC staff you just replace CwC gem with Controlled Desctruction and put 6 link into staff and have 3l 3l in body

Update for hardcore:

Took out Herald of Ash in place of Flesh and Stone (sand stance) for some extra damage reduction in t15-16 maps. I also took out combustion with the purifying flame setup and threw in Tempest Shield instead, since I'm not really worried as much about the fire pen. Feels SUPER tanky now. The extra little block chance and less damage from offscreen enemies / blinded nearby enemies is very good. I did lose about 100k shaper dps, but it's totally worth it if I don't get insta-ripped by something. Oh, I made a thing yesterday, too:

I need to lock prefixes, scour suffixes, and multi-craft for dex/quality + w/e and we're good to go!

Looking at your char, yeah Combustion was basically almost useless as without HoA you arent dealing almost any fire damage anyway. I really like Tempest Shield addition as well for HC.

And that body is sick, damn.

Hello and thank you very much to this awesome build.
I was wondering if the support gem "energy leech support" could be viable in the 6 links main skill ?
any chance of incorporating inpulsa into the build for clear speed? i mean is it viable?

Np :)

Well, it looks good on paper, but no, because we are on full energy shield most of the time, so Energy Leech damage bonus will not be very effective.

But if you do not have any source of Energy Leech yet, feel free to use it while leveling it is still decent link.

Atm no, because we are not doing any lightning damage, also Inpulsa has pretty low ES, so it will tank the amount of ES we have by a lot. You can use it if you would convert the build to lightning, but the survivability will be probably an issue.

Would it be possible to implement Flesh and stone into this build, how would you go about this. nice build btw, have been having a blast although i have been having a bit of issues with survivalbility sometimes. i just went for the smashing strikes talent in the passive tree, gonna see how that goes.

TLDR: If you would implement Flesh and stone+Smashing strikes for staves how would you go about it?
