Just Reinstalled D2-LoD

Took me about 30 minutes to get over the cruddy graphics.
Then. Ohhh then. I forgot how good it was - sure it was basic, but it is good. Despite POEs graphics, number of skills, complexity, areas, etc. The gameplay of D2LoD is still a little better. Something about it feels more involved. At some point POE feels like a mindless clicking-game. Love both, but was happy to stroll down a really old memory lane and confirm that it was/is awesome Last bumped on May 23, 2019, 8:44:35 AM

" Yup, it truly was one of the Greatest games ever made. Even with botting and duping it was just that good. One thing i always wished POE would get was massive events like Dclone and Uber Trist, but alas GGG wants everyone to slaughter trash mobs, Oh the Joy, LMAO IGN:Axe_Crazy

Did the same recently and had the same feeling. BUT after leveling up and playing for a few days game becomes way more mindless than poe. You just skip everything and kill boss over and over. I'm not saying that's bad tho

I've been feeling the itch to see what's up in MedianXL mod for it after a few years of not playing. Now THAT had a nice player controllable crafting system!

I didn't give D2 a very fair shot because I couldn't tolerate the tiny inventory. However, I really liked the Eastern Sun mod, got my Amazon to max level in it. Some of the content is very hard, but I believe easier than MedianXL.

If you like that then don't stop with just the standard LoD.
Go for either Path of Diablo or Median XL. Since I can't party play PoE with my 2 BFFL (too much lag), I'm going to get a trio going in PoD for this summer's arpg. We also are veterans of the Titan Quest arpg's so I might get the 3 of us on the Lilith The Will of Demon Battles of Jalavia mod (played through part of it solo and loved it).
