Pick up all currency shortcut.
" The reason the pet suggestion might get negative responses is that a lot of us don't want pets out during gameplay as it's an extra resource eating actor within the game engine and/or we just don't want/like pets. Currency is nearly always needed, so auto-pickup baseline would be wonderful. But for currencies only. Gear, that's another story. If your inventory is full, a message could appear onscreen telling you that you are currently unable to pick up any further items, letting you know you need to head back to town and stash/vendor some stuff to make room. Here's a tip many might not have noticed with the console version. Unlike the PC version where you can selectively click on the playing field, you're stuck manually picking up with X (by default) on consoles. But if you're in combat that makes it difficult. But there's a little trick I learned that can really help in those situations. If you have at least one direction that does not trigger the auto-targeting feature, you can quickly turn in that direction, pick up the currency or item, and return to combat immediately after doing so. It'll take a bit of learning on the timing, but it's at least a usable workaround outside of delves. It's especially handy in memory fragments (Cavas), but you can safely ignore this technique there if you wish as all "consumed" treasure and currencies will be dropped at whichever memory stabilizer you end up at when the area decays, or out in the regular game world if you're not in a Memory Nexus queued memory location. |
