[3.8 Video Guide] Beginner Friendly: Winter Orb Trickster [Uber Elder & Fast]

I loaded pob :

1. The 4% reserved mana node boosted my mana from 46 to 103. Sounds like a solution!
2. Not activating that, but getting weave of the arcane only gave me 56 unreserved mana... so that definitely won't let me cast spear.
3. Activating both gave me 127 mana, not a significant boost compared to 103.

So i am really thinking of skipping weave of the arcane to get patient reaper, I'd appreciate if you let me know if that would be a mistake and why. Thanks!

How did you get that +36% cast speed on Malachai's Artifice?

I'm surprised to see more of a known streamer copy and paste a build and stamp it 'his', 'my'.

Kinda weird man - and there has been a mention or two about it in this thread, even the Chinese author poking in with a condescending plug if he can share the guide.

The guide clearly states that it's inspired by that build and has been tweaked for this guide. It's also one of the first things mentioned in the video to make sure that noone could possibly miss the fact that the original idea is from the Chinese guy with his reddit post. Since it hasn't been clear enough in the written version I have now moved the text and adjusted it to the very top, missing it now should literally be impossible.


I'd also like to point out the fact that there were no build guide known to the community on the build other than a mere reddit post when this guide was created. And without being rude, looking at the guide it's not very beginner friendly or easy to follow now that I see the creation of it.


I'm also curious @Azaroth;
Most if not all SRS builds are either exact replicas or close to, to my original design since it was released as I've promoted a handful of different styles & approaches. Does that mean that everyone else is copying my build? Most of them use the same tree and same uniques even without the care to change a single thing.

Same goes for Soulwrest & Lich Queen (melee skellies with spectres), I'm the first to create build guides and feature these builds, but the other guides are almost identical, are they copies of my build then?

My point being this:
This guide right here, is a tweaked version of the original style and I personally feel that it's way too close to the original to not credit the author which I've done, both text wise & verbally. So I don't feel that it's ok to be "attacked" or "called out" on something that is taken out of the blue.

Gonna try this build as my league starter.

I'm interested in league starting with this, but how does the build sustain mana for ice spear? According to the PoB we can spend at about 6x the rate of our regen, and would go oom after just 2 casts.

Ice Spear is designed to 1 or 2 shot bosses with good positioning so you don't need to spam it, it's not designed to be spammed :)
